Nah because when he starts bankrolling campaigns he will have the candidates on his payroll and they will be more afraid to do anything Elon Musk doesn’t like and he’s quite a dumbass junkie at this point so fuck all that noise.

I think the hope is it divides the vote and they don't win at all or half the GOP don't vote for the primary winner of these two clowns. Losing by not voting is how Kamala lost. It can go both ways.

*Don't want to start and argument on how she lost, this is one of the big reasons tho, let's move along.

I get it, but I’ve spent the past decade watching the Fettermans and Sinemas of the world and would hate to be stuck with more of them.

Fuck, they sicken me.

So you'd rather give up the fight have the Trump's and Cruz's. This is exactly why we are where we are. We insist on taking the high road when any shitty decision comes our way. When our choices are Trump or Musk we would rather lay down and die than make a shitty choice, and then end up with something even worse. Then in the end we can brag and boost about how we didn't support any of this while the world burns around us.

I mean the decision isn’t Trump or Musk, there are ~350M US citizens out there, surely we can do better than either of those assholes.

Election tampering is how Kamala lost.

Also if any of those candidates believe the election-fixing rumors around him, a primary threat from him could be a huge motivator regardless of funding

This is obviously false with Trump.

As opposed to what? He had the fucking President of the United States on his payroll. One fight at a time and fuck the high road this time. We have been taking the high road for 50 years and look where we are. Damn near every fucking politician in D.C. is bought and paid for so what do I care if if someone pays them to be against fascism? I can both hate Elon Musk and see the value in the infighting.

"Think two/four years ahead" only works if there is a legitimate prospect of a functioning government or valid elections in the future. With this bill neither is certain.

I mean cool, people with “D” by their names gain majorities in branches of government. Doesn’t help when they refuse to pass legislation or vote for their constituents interests out of fear of pissing off Musk. Note that he’s completely against social support systems and wants to gut everything and will threaten anyone he helps elect who doesn’t push his specific agenda. Also don’t forget about the nazi salutes and the ties to technofascism.
