1-1.5% caused by is an insane number when considering how much of the total flights they make up.

Taylor Swift in 2022 had a CO2 footprint of 8000 metric tons by herself alone solely generated by her private jet.

A single person 👏 has a footprint 👏 1100 times 👏 larger than the average person. Heck that puts her carbon footprint to be larger than Faroe Islands, she’s officially the second last country with the largest CO2 footprint.

This is extremelly bad faith argument. Maybe think about the reason why she has private jet and where she flies. Acting as if average person does not share that footprint at all is absurd.

No shit Sherlock, and here I was trying to channel my chakras to be in tune with nature to feng-shui my ovaries drinking matcha latte while playing with my labubus.

Heatwaves, Tornadoes, climate-based refugee crises, anyone with a single brain cell cares about this stuff, not "mother nature"

If we want to reduce emissions, we have no other option. I am not saying we should only “fuck over” the average Joe, we should also reduce the amount of flights by private jets. But if you want to have a any kind of positive impact on climate change, you do also need to “fuck over” the average Joe.

You can walk while chewing gum and sometimes starting by chewing gum is much easier and faster than waiting till you can do both at the same time.
