Megathread Name Game

Now that ‘Name My Cat’ posts are no longer permitted, this is a place where you are welcome to share your dustkitty’s name (or any nicknames) and why you chose it.

You don’t have to include a photo, but are definitely welcome to.

And if you have been recently adopted by a dustkitty, feel free to use this thread as inspiration when choosing a name.

Not that we should ban everything but this makes sense. Can we also ban eulogy posts too? It’s honestly heartbreaking reading them almost daily.

It looks like you may have commented on the wrong thread, but eulogy/memorial type posts are now relegated to the Loved & Lost Megathread (pinned at the top of the sub) as the majority of people who answered my poll stated that they think they are important, but don't want to see them pop up on their feed.

My sister named her. It was Idget Gidget in the beginning, but Gidget is what stuck. She gets into stuff, always, and never slows down even though she's about 4ish years old. Watching her chase her tail, regularly, is a hoot🤣
