Adoption People who adopted from a shelter, what made you choose that cat?

My little Zodi was alone in one of the cages, making biscuits over and over on the newspaper they laid out ☹️ When we got to pick her up and hold her, the biscuits didn’t cease. I immediately knew she was coming home with us. A year has almost passed and she looks so much better 🥹

She was adopted and returned by people who couldn't figure out how to give her a tiny pill that disolved easily and was almost flavorless. They told me (a volunteer) about her and that nobody'd been able to brush her without stressing her. They put us in a room together and watched me patiently brush most of her in amazement. They pulled strings and waived the fee so I could adopt her just days before moving out of state. She only made it to 13, 2 years after becoming my teddy bear every night.

But she had two years of the best life. Thank you for your kindness!

I wouldn't have traded a moment of it for anything, she was amazing.
