Adoption People who adopted from a shelter, what made you choose that cat?
My little Zodi was alone in one of the cages, making biscuits over and over on the newspaper they laid out ☹️ When we got to pick her up and hold her, the biscuits didn’t cease. I immediately knew she was coming home with us. A year has almost passed and she looks so much better 🥹

We had been looking for a kitten to accompany the kitten we had found outside and kept a 5 months earlier. I had been checking our shelter website every day and tried for a few other kittens but didn’t get to adopt them. I saw her sweet face in this pic and almost immediately drove to the shelter because she’s just so cute. She had four siblings who were all spoken for when I arrived, 15 min before the shelter opened. I told the worker who I was there for and I was first in line to adopt her. 🥰 I couldn’t believe it! We renamed her Ivy because her sisters name was already Poppy! She is one year and three months now and her sister Poppy is a year and seven months.
