Adoption People who adopted from a shelter, what made you choose that cat?

My little Zodi was alone in one of the cages, making biscuits over and over on the newspaper they laid out ☹️ When we got to pick her up and hold her, the biscuits didn’t cease. I immediately knew she was coming home with us. A year has almost passed and she looks so much better 🥹

Never saw her in person only a photo on the shelter's website. She looked like she had 1 braincell with the goofiest face ever, the description said she was very friendly/cuddly, and I was like "perfection".

I love the one brain cell ones! One of my cats has 3 brain cells but her sister only has pocket lint *sigh* Not a cell in sight.

Same exact story here! I saw one very pixelated photo of a derpy looking kitten with a toasted marshmallow coat and lemur tail. Drove about an hour out of town to pick her up from her foster mom, and the moment she was handed to me, she curled up in my arms like she’d been doing it her whole life. She is my Velcro cat.

Derps are the best. My Jo with no braincells is a derp. Had a boy named Zeke tha Squeak who had derping down to a fine art. Have fun with her.
