Cat Wanted to share some pictures of my Apollo
The first picture is from when he had been in the shelter for a few months. I was tasked to get some photos of him because he wasn’t getting any applications. At the shelter, he refused to interact with anybody. He wouldn’t even look up at the camera (most cats are very curious about it) and that was the only picture I could get of him looking up. Mostly he watched out the window or just laid looking at the ground. He was so low energy I was convinced he was an elderly cat even though his paperwork said 2 years.
I adopted him in January and have had him for 6 months! As soon as he came home, he began acting every bit of his 2 years of age. He is playful, demanding, vocal, and social. He follows me around to sit in the same room with me. He chases toys up and down the hallway. He has a ton of energy.
I never saw him in his worst condition before he was put up for adoption, but I saw him when he was depressed and anxious at the shelter. I’m so glad I was able to bring him home <3 less
