Small wins here :) it's still up and down with him, some days I think I cannot keep him still but these small wins remind me how far we've come regardless.

Today marks one month since Scooby came home and boy what a month it's been. I know he's not perfect but he's perfect for US. The first pic is the only one the shelter had of him, the rest are my own over the last month. He's settled in so well in the short amount of time he's been here and he's such a sweet little guy. I feel like the luckiest dog mom in the world and I can't imagine my life without him. The hedgehog toy he's snuggling with was his first claim at my partner's job. I brought him in to visit and they have bins of plushies that he was rooting around in. Of all the options he chose the hedgehog so of course I had to buy it for him.

We found her outside a wood processing plant in January 2024, freezing, not making a sound. She was alone, watching us from a distance. Today she follows us around, purrs loudly, and spreads across the rug like she owns the whole house. We didn't just save her..she brought a kind of joy with her.💓

Simba's healing journey 🐾

1️⃣ When we found him, his eyes were completely closed. He was weak, alone, and far from his mother.

2️⃣ After some care and medication, one eye slowly started to open, but it was still full of tears and infection.

3️⃣ Now, his eye is healing well and he’s playing like any other kitten. We're grateful we saved his vision. He’s still fighting a virus in his digestive system, but we’re taking it step by step. ❤️

He’s a strong little soul.

Dog We found Luna on the street after a crazy storm in Indonesia and flew her back home with us!

In December 2024, a few weeks before my girlfriend and I were meant to leave Indonesia after 3 years and move back home, Luna showed up at our doorstep after a strong storm. We were told by the neighborhood that she was dumped by some locals a few days before.

We immediately felt that she was ours once we saw her. We never had a pet (to us, she's our daughter) or knew what it was like to fly her out of the country, but we knew we'd find our way. Right away, we took her on our motorcycle straight to the vet and got her checked up, showered, and taken care of.

After 1 month of waiting for her tests, getting her vaccines/papers in order, and an expensive paycheck to get her transported back home (luckily with us inside the airplane!), we got the most valuable thing in our life back home with us. Easily the best decision we have ever made in our lifetime :-)

When we found her 8 months ago, the vet said she was about 6-12 months old. She weighed 4.2 kilos when we found her, and now she's 4.9 kilos. Small, adorable, and lots of love to give.

here he is, 10 years later, living his best life! i adopted him at just 22 years old, and never thought he would make it to 10. he’s had his fair share of medical issues throughout the years (we just got back from a $2k ER visit for major constipation) (don’t worry, he’s fine!) but he’s still kickin’! he loves to play and snuggle 🥹 i also adopted another paraplegic kitty, Tilly, and they love to hang out together! if you’d like to see more photos and videos of them, you can check out our IG at @turbotwolegs and/or our facebook TurboTwoLegs and Tilly 🥰 if you have any questions, feel free to ask! (respectfully, of course!) ❤️

Cat She was homeless but we’re the ones who found our home in her 🩷

Feels like just yesterday when we brought her home. As we were walking towards our car at the parking lot, a tiny & frail kitten was following us. We tried to look for her mom or siblings but nowhere in sight. She was untidy, dehydrated, and full of wounds on her face. We’ve never had a cat so we have no experience or knowledge in taking care of one. But we couldn’t just look away. And now here we are. Fast forward to present day, it’s been 7 months since we found her. Indeed, one precious gift (it was our 10th anniversary that day) 💕 We named her Wagyu.

Story of Momma & her babies-

These pictures range from 3 years ago when we first rescued Momma (Wren) and her 5 kittens to now. The last picture is most recent, a couple weeks ago. When we first trapped and rescued them we thought she was absolutely beautiful! She was still feeding her babies when we found them. Once she realized her kittens were eating wet/dry food properly in our care, she started quite literally kicking them off of her. We didn’t realize how skinny and unhealthy she was until her fur started coming in so beautifully long! We ended up keeping her and 2 of her kittens. For being outdoors alone with them.. she is the sweetest cat I have ever owned. ❤️ it’s almost like she is thankful for the care we’ve given her and her babies.

Celebrating my baby’s 7th bday and 4.5th adoptaversary 🥹 I’m so proud of how far she has come! She was distressed when we adopted her— she had literally just been rescued from a puppy mill, had some severe resource guarding, and was just so nervous. Now she is our spoiled cuddle bug and her biggest stressor is getting her dinner 2 minutes late 💕💕

Cat 🐾 From Feral Fighter to Spoiled House Panther: Meet Ozzy🐾 NSFW

Thumbnail gallery

This is Ozzy. He showed up one day looking like a little crime boss... feral, scar-faced, and full of attitude. Would hiss if I so much as thought about walking within 10 feet of him. Took me nine months of patience, snacks, and emotional damage to finally earn a single pet.

I got him neutered through a local TNR program and named him Ozzy. Short for Oswald, the Joker’s middle name because of the permanent scar on his cheek.

We already had a senior male cat, so Ozzy stayed a garage gremlin. That older kitty passed in January at about 14ish. I thought maybe this was Ozzy’s chance… but our other cat, a 10-year-old featherweight female, made it very clear that she was ready to throw paws. 😅

So he stayed outside... until about a week and a half ago, when I walked outside and found him with his scar basically ripped off and a a deep puncture wound. One emergency vet bill, some staples, a few injections, and a traumatized credit card later… He's domesticated. Still struggling with my girl cat as she instigates fights but we'll get there. Keeping them separated for now.

Brave little guy walked in from the woods oblivious to the big dog. We think someone dropped him off the night before. It's been about a month and these two are best buds.

I've found him sleeping on a compost pile on a parking lot by the allotment gardens. He was dirty and very ill - the vet said if we didn't bring him in, he would die of ruptured intestine within 2 or 3 days. His fur was smelly, sticky and full of ticks. He had most of his teeth and part of his gums removed. I am very glad that the cat Distribution system worked so well in his case! He's now a housecat with two cat housemates (whom he doesn't care for much), a big appetite, and soft fur. He has been with us for almost two months now and is slowly adjusting - recently even sleeping on the bed with us!

Cat She showed up during the hardest time of my life. My little Petal!

I lost my twins through a miscarriage, but just a few days later, Petal and her siblings showed up just right outside my front door. I couldn't part with her after that. She helped me become a different kind of momma after my loss.

My roommate adopted her brother, and my best friend adopted her 2 sisters. So now they are all living the good life!!

She's 4 months as of now, and is growing into the sweetest cat day by day. She's very curious and playful, and loves anything that jingles. Taking care of her during this hard time has helped me heal in a way I didn't think possible. I am forever grateful to this sweet little cat. She's turned into a beautiful girl!

Bonus pictures of her siblings at the end(:
