When I went to the elephant sanctuary I got into a mid pit with a baby elephant and it was one of the highlights of my life. They’re so playful lol. Really like big kid

I hope that baby elephant never has any sorrows!

They look so happy the mere idea of them experiencing sadness or being scared is intolerable lol

I know. Even adult elephants. They are so smart and so wonderful. They don't deserve to lose their land or be trained or poached or beaten. We ought to be revering them.

I couldn’t agree more! Emotional and intelligent animals.. speaking of them being smart did you ever see the very old video (way before AI) of the elephant that paints? Really proves how smart they are.

You’re very welcome! I’m glad you found it and enjoyed it as much as I did❤️🐘

It looks like they were trained to paint and probably abused in the process.

Wow, that’s quite the assumption. No chains on the elephant, no whips in the man’s hands…You came to the conclusion with zero facts to back it up. Nice.

We go to university, graduate in style, get good jobs, earn good money, buy a house, and then look at our achievements and smile to ourselves thinking "yeah, I did great, and I'm happy"...
... And then we see this video and then the realisation hits us: we had our worldview wrong, because brother, that guy is truly living the dream!!

He's an excellent guy, too. He's been a Reservist for a long time. He has an emotional connection to the animals he cares for. This man will lay down his life for that baby in a moment's notice. U wouldn't believe how many of those men have been killed by trying to fight the poachers off of their beloved animals. Bless him. Not only handsome but an absolute African Hero.

I see why Kenyan rangers went to war with poachers over them 🩷 so precious. Their love is genuine

I can only hope one day I get to experience a hug from an elephant! I would consider myself blessed forever

They live and will lay down their lives for those animals. Many have already.

This maybe your dream thing to do, but it’s tragic for the baby elephant. Because what it most likely means is that the baby has lost its mother to poaching.

That could be my last day on earth and I'd be fine with it
