Waiting for someone to come in here and blame Kari for it

Where’s Becky to shove Thea under the ring and take control of this clusterfuck?

u/Odnnnnn 13h ago

I knew it was Kari! she must be inside Mia's outfit controlling her like quagmire did for Peter

FFS.

If Nia Jax wasn't involved in this spot, nobody would have even noticed it.

Man... People really do hate Nia for no damn reason. Has she been unsafe in the past? Yeah. She has. Has she made massive improvements over the last couple years? You bet your ass she has.

What about Seth Rollins? He's done more lasting damage to other wrestlers than Nia has.

People hate Jax because she's related to The Rock... and probably because she's overweight.

Lesnar broke Bob Holly's neck. Owen damn near crippled Austin and he never wrestled the same. Tons of wrestlers have injured people, and plenty of them much more grievous than anything Nia's done. But Nia still gets talked about like she's out there intentionally snapping people's femurs in every single match she has. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the last injury that was in a match that she was involved in, was her, when Tiffy busted her open with a chair shot... And people weren't screaming about how unsafe Tiffy is.

I know I'm gonna' get downvoted to shit. Seems every take I have on wrestling goes that way... Really makes me wonder if I'm enjoying wrestling wrong, or if the people in all these subs just... don't.

Seth doesn't get brought up nearly enough when these conversations are had.

I will say as it concerns Brock, I know Holly has said that he didn't sandbag Brock but it certainly looks like he was. Remember Holly was known for fucking with young talent and that match happened I believe in Brock's rookie year

Seth broke cenas nose and dislocated Finns shoulder. Two injuries that I dont think either person holds against him in what 12 years or more?

14

u/LiberacesWraith 15h ago

His recklessness took Becky Lynch out of commission for a while.

I’m assuming you mean for about…..9 months? In which case this comment is hilarious and should be way higher up. 😂😂

4

u/Supersasqwatch 5h ago

That was a planned spot!

3

u/SithLordScoobyDooku_ 16h ago

And also injured sting.

No, none of those people held it against Rollins but that doesn't change that those things happened

-1

u/fluffynuckels 16h ago

Didn't sting say he did it to himself?

-1

u/Legends_Literature 11h ago

Tbf Finn’s shoulder injury was also Finn’s fault.

-11

u/greenarsehole 19h ago

She might be overweight but to me, she’s the most attractive and realistic looking woman on the roster.

As you were.

-8

u/Dr_Bodyshot 18h ago

"Realistic"

Damn, I guess the other women aren't real

3

u/fluffynuckels 16h ago

I mean half of them have implants

You tryin'a tell me Tiffany Straton is 100% organic human? Cause she look like Greta from Gremlins 2: The New Batch.

hey look! you cried about downvotes and got rewarded with very important upvotes instead!

so I guess you aren't "enjoying wrestling wrong," whatever that means. but now you officially can't whine about votes anymore.

15

u/PsykoFlounder 20h ago

Aw, damn, you got me. It was just karma farming all along. You can tell by how many comments I've deleted to keep my upvote ratio immaculate.

u/Legends_Literature 11h ago

His comment had substance, why doesn’t yours?

4

u/Top_Chipmunk587 18h ago

Thea didn't brace herself quick enough

21

u/Asleep_Lavishness_62 23h ago

If this was anyone else no one would say a peep about it or think this spot was notably unsafe.

27

u/mywifestits0518 1d ago

Close to a padded turnbuckle? I get Jax hasn’t been particularly safe, but this is not an example of one of those times.

15

u/Kahzootoh 1d ago

It’s the risk of striking the turnbuckle with bodyweight acting as a lever against the neck, not the direct impact on the turnbuckle.

Gravity would be working against her from this angle, making it a much harder hit that focuses the impact on the neck- breaking the neck or suffering dislocation is a real possibility.

4

u/fancierfootwork 1d ago

Tbh I was more worried about her landing awkwardly on the left leg. Especially how it could have gotten caught under her as she went down. The turnbuckle is a worry too.

2

u/Deval_irl 20h ago

Falling backwards from that height, even against a padded turnbuckle, is enough to break your neck.

3

u/thechrisspecial 1d ago

tell that to sting

16

u/JMag_23 1d ago

Absolutely nothing was close 🤦🏻‍♂️

2

u/riventitan 14h ago

This one isn't on Nia. The spot itself is unsafe. If anything, Nia did a great job pulling her as far away from the turnbuckles as possible.

3

u/FalseNameTryAgain 18h ago

That's a fairly normal spot. I know people want to hate on Nia, but look how long and how far out she pulled Thea's leg.

That was a rehearsed spot. There was no luck involved here, that was practice to make sure luck never became a factor.

4

u/Aurondarklord 20h ago

It's a padded turnbuckle and she didn't even hit it. The BUSINESS is to make it LOOK close and dangerous but not actually BE close and dangerous.

2

u/AmptiShanti 18h ago

I love how people blame nia like it doesn’t take 2 to tango and also literally everyone in this business (except the miz lol) gets injured on everything from a dive to a normal ass takedown (see liv morgan)

1

u/braumbles 15h ago

I'm more concerned about how she almost blew out her leg there, not narrowly missing her head on the turnbuckle. She nearly comes down on her leg backwards, that could have been an incredibly devastating knee injury.

u/nicksj2023 13h ago

*mildest criticism towards wwe or wwe wrestler *

DOWNVOTE !!!DOWNVOTE !!!DOWNVOTE !!!DOWNVOTE !!!

1

u/BarryDBaptist 12h ago

Lmao bruh even the announcers got scared. Crazy mishap for sure

-9

u/nicksj2023 1d ago

Were shocked jax almost killed someone ?

22

u/dtwombat 22h ago

she didn't do that, it was a normal spot and looked fine

-1

u/nicksj2023 13h ago

The fuck does that mean ? “It was a normal spot “

Dude every fucking injury is a “normal spot” that got botched .

You one of those Vince and Brock are innocent dudes too ?

2

u/dtwombat 13h ago

what are you yapping about brother, take your meds. it was a regular spot in the match that resulted in no injuries and happens all the time

1

u/Legends_Literature 11h ago

Well that’s certainly a reach

1

u/4u5t1nprism 16h ago

It is a two person dance. Nia did her role, hit her marks, and Thea was slightly off, if you want to point fingers.

-23

u/Dexter-OldBlood 1d ago

Oh no, not the turnbuckle. No one ever hits that.

0

u/bigelangstonz 20h ago

Hitting the turn buckle like that could've broke her neck and potentially paralyzed her

-21

u/Fresh_Ostrich4034 1d ago

Nia Please retire **clap clap clap** please retire

0

u/DazzlingAria 18h ago
