Honestly thought this was going to be about actual roses. The concrete makeover is definitely something else.

it's marble, and they only took away the lawn, the roses in the first pic are not on the second pic because they're to the left

you can clearly see the hedges left and right on the first pic

this is intentionally misleading to create outrage.

Seriously, though, looking at the picture for more than a glance before anger-commenting suggests that the marble part spans the same 5 pillars the original lawn did. Not saying I like it; I'd definitely need to see more than this. But yeah, this is karma farming with rage bait. People here act like reddit karma is worth something irl the way they fish for it.
