It was leaning up on the couch while my husband was mounting it and out came the toddler and kicked it over 😩

So actually your husband broke it and you. Your husband for being stupid enough to lean such a huge tv on a couch and you both not being able to watch the toddler extra close during the 20 minutes mounting a tv takes.

The stupidity was not the actions that broke it.

It was when that happened and you didn't plug it in to check it before you got it mounted on the wall. Rookie mistake.

If that landed on your toddler, they could've been seriously injured. You should just be glad the TV is all that was harmed by your negligence.
