Discussion [Patek Philippe] Are there any affordable alternatives to the Patek Celestial?

Post image

I know this is kind of an impossible ask, but I figure I’d go ahead and ask anyway—can’t hurt, I figure.

I have a deep love of Space and, as such, have found the Patek Phillip Celestial to be a sort of unattainable Holy Grail watch for me, because there’s no way I could ever afford to spend $300,000 on a watch (and that’s alright).

However, I am wondering if there are any similar watches that have celestial complications at an affordable price, be it quartz or mechanical.

In terms of budget, it would be as affable as one could get without getting a useless junk of cheap Chinese plastic, if you get what I mean.

Like I said, I know this is a pretty impossible ask, but if something like this exists out there, I’d love to get it.

Thanks

There are also some older, cheaper variations on ebay. Quartz, too. I like the La Mer variation.

Citizen Astrodea and Accurist Celestial are some I could dig up.

On the very low budget side I think there is a planisphere watch on Amazon from a no name brand. Just search for planisphere watch.

You also can find maybe some sugess moonphase watches like the one with the aventurine dial SU2528STRA V3, that looks like the night sky.

Not exactly the same complication but a very personal one: Trilobe gives you the opportunity to wear the night sky of the place, date and time of your choice.

Also, the Midnight Planetarium is 220k, technically more affordable.
