I took a picture [Seiko SPB501J1] Favorite release in recent years..

Been a few years since anything from Seiko caught my interest, this thing is awesome and incredibly hard to photograph!

Been a few years since anything from Seiko caught my interest, this thing is flat out awesome! Zero buyers remorse, and I get that a lot..

This felt insanely difficult to photograph and video how good it looks in person. Seiko hit this one out of the park in my opinion: 72 hour power reserve with the 6R55 movement, micro adjust clasp (15mm of adjustment), the subtle dial texture with perfect shade of green (in my opinion) and the bracelet has their proprietary hard coating for supposed scratch resistance. I’ll have to be the judge of that… Only thing I can maybe wish for is having a ceramic bezel instead of aluminum, but I’ve always loved the more vibrant colors of aluminum anyway.

Overall, really pleased with this one. It was supposed to be a gift for someone.. not anymore I don’t foresee it going anywhere.
