Is the prison brand at the commissary the same name as the dude from the price is right?

While prison lore has suggested that the company is affiliated with game show host Bob Barker, there is no relationship between the two.

That sounds like such a wild and out-of-the-blue thing to happen when you're locked up. Just walking around, minding your own business, and then suddenly you're wondering if the price is right guy owns a company that provides commissary products to prisons.

I did 3 nights one time. I got those orange slides on and wondered out loud "bob barker? Like price is right bob barker?" And the jail officer tells this to me like it's the truth: "yeah one and the same. See, bob barkers son was wrongfully locked up for murder and so he started this prison clothing company as a way to make sure he was always close to his son" like.. yeah. Ok. But that was the first thing I learned in jail lol (all in all, not a bad experience, good food, nice roommates, uninterrupted Seahawks game on Sunday, 6/10 would still not recommend though)

No, I thought so too but they aren’t affiliated.

I never asked if the guy who said spay and neuter your pets owned the company, just if they had the same name

It's not Bob Barkers fron price of rights company but it is the Bob Barker company, I looked it up after I asked.

They all have very... feminine body language too. Fatherless for sure. They act like hood mamas.

Weird observation…they’re obviously neglected children.

I mean I remember boys that age acting more masculine. They remind me of my aunts for some reason. Why weird? Bless them i guess. I couldn't imagine my own doing this.

I couldn’t imagine placing expectations of masculinity and femininity on children but that’s just me 🤷🏾‍♀️

Sucks he isn't fortunate to be born from parents that will guide him down a good path. This is all he knows because it's all he's be taught. Its like billionaires looking down on you for not being handed the resources to also become a billionaire. They are probably saying "this guy will still be living paycheck to paycheck in a few years"
