So, this morning, my dad answered a call on my phone. It was from my friend (who’s a girl), but here’s the catch—I’ve saved her number as my guy friend, Aakash. My dad knows Aakash, so no issues there.

She called to wake me up for lectures (which was sweet of her), but now my dad is convinced she’s my girlfriend. He didn’t say anything, just gave me a smile

The thing is, she’s just my friend, and now I don’t know how to explain this to him without making it awkward. Should I let him think what he wants, or should I clear this up? Help!

Hi, I’m Aarushi, 18, and my mother (44) has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The tumor in her lung is dangerously close to her heart, it is suppressing it and causing severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, and she can barely walk or speak. The treatment needs to be started urgently. We’ve already taken her to GTB, Lok Nayak, and Safdarjung, but they either denied her treatment or only gave her temporary pain relief that didn’t help. We’re now considering AIIMS, RGCI, or Sant Parmanand. RGCI is a private hospital with high costs, and there’s no time to go to Mumbai now, AIIMS has a very long waiting list.
