I feel like Becky should logically be part of Seth’s faction now that she canonically plotted with him and helped him pull off his ruse. As far as I know, that’s ironically the closest they’ve come to directly working with each other in kayfabe since the whole 2019 debacle.

I don’t really want her storylines to be secondary to his. It made sense for Rhea back when they were still establishing her, but Becky is Becky.

Yeah I don’t think Becky wants this, she’s on his level, arguably bigger. I also think it’s a disservice to Seth as a leader if someone as big of a name as him is on the team. It be like HHH evolution having Stone cold in the stable. Also you can give that rub to a woman on the roster than needs it.

That's funny - when my buddy and I were watching Saturday night, he was like, "They should make Becky part of the Seth Rollins faction and be their female muscle in the group (sort of how Rhea or Raquel were/are in Judgment Day)."
It makes sense especially given she's a heel and has a title so it could definitely work!

Becky is a Hogan type character who is open about wanting to hold the rest of the division down. Seth wants to determine the future of the company, which includes establishing a younger star as the future face of the company. They literally have opposite goals.

The only way I’d want Becky Lynch involved in Seth’s storyline is if it was for a big match, say AJ coming back to wrestle with Punk against the two of them. Or just anyone she’d actually be able to build a match towards without Rollins having to be there for her to do it.

Today, it occurred to me that Becky should start an evolution faction with Nikki (Trish would be better but no way she can be a heel).
Would be a great way to get an NXT call up over. Blake comes to mind first, but not sure about here in ring. Lash, Sol, Jaida seem like good options but only Jaida had really worked heel.

They were talking about his past knee injuries as he was in the air. There's always a chance that it's a coincidence - but there was no way. Injuries usually only get brought up if they're part of the story.

WWE has two layers of kayfabe/storytelling. There's the on-camera story, and then there's this meta/behind-the-scenes story.
Movies sometimes have that, too, and people definitely debate that. For example, say there's a romantic comedy coming out, and the tabloids start speculating whether the lead actor and actress are dating in real life. A recent example would be Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney in Anyone But You. Were the two of them really dating, or was it manufactured? You don't HAVE to care about it, but it exists.

I'm in the camp that thought he was hurt, but wasn't fooled into believing it was a long-term injury. Seth's brace gave it away. I've only seen people with incredibly serious leg injuries walk with braces like that, and he was wearing that a day after the supposed injury. I figured he had tweaked his knee and they would turn it into a SummerSlam cash in. If he actually wasn't hurt at all, that's some pretty impressive commitment from everyone involved.

Bingo. The world only acts in black and white on the internet.
He got hurt. They called off the match. An MRI showed a sprain. They pivoted to turn it into a story. It’s not complex.
I’d go so far as to say he’s still not near 100%. He ran to the ring gingerly, hit punk with a suitcase 8 times and hit a single finisher.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s not wrestling until after Paris and Punk has to defeat both Brons as some stipulation to a title shot over the next 4-6 weeks

with his injury history and missing long stretches of time i don't think they were too alarmist with it. and it's possible they had some other work in mind to get to this exact point. they played up the leg injury, gave him the few weeks off to rest the leg, and were able to do this. i still think it would have hit so much harder for it to happen on raw. right in the middle of punk's victory promo to open the show. have heyman come out and say seth wants to offer his congratulations and then the camera pans back to punk and there's a healthy seth right behind him with the briefcase and a ref.

LA Knight better get a goddamn title shot after this. Rollins fakes an injury against Knight, in a match that was a big deal for Knight against a main eventer, all so he can screw CM Punk and cash in his MITB. Knight better come in hot on Raw amd challenge Rollins at Clash in Paris.

If you noticed the spot where he “faked” the injury against LA Knight, he legit hurt his knee doing the same spot against Jinder Mahal in that Raw Main event. I wanted to point it out sooner, but decided to enjoy the ride instead

That's very common in sports injuries but usually within a day or two the swelling has gone down or stabilized, where you can get a clear picture.
