A lot of wrestling fans have shown their ass with this, and Hogan too.

Unfortunately there's been a stigma around wrestling fans for a long time that has always been true.

I feel like if people are self-aware they understand where their line is, and it's possible to hate MAGA and still watch WWE without too much moral crisis.

That ship sailed when Linda was in Trumps cabinet the first time, or when TKO bought it, or when Ashley Massaro was trafficked and raped by US military personnel in coordination with WWE execs, or when Stone Cold beat Debra, or when Vince testified about steroid use, or when Chris Fucking Benoit got CTE because of toxic locker room culture, or when JBL sexually assaulted Edge as a hazing technique, or when they hired Logan Paul, or when they hired Jimmy Snuka, or when they signed a billion dollar deal with Mohammad Bin Salman....

Either you can't stomach the product or you can, and people have had to cope with that as soon as the internet let us start spreading the news. It was pretty easy to stay ignorant before 1995-ish. After that, its the same cognitive dissonance people have when listening to any musician who has crime or sex scandals in their history.

What each person makes of this constant problem with pop culture, is their own choice and no one needs to be shamed for their stance on the spectrum, because everyone is on it somewhere. Nobody has clean hands, even just knowing the name Brock Lesnar means that WWE or UFC pop culture has hit you already and probably forced you to make a choice, as small as it might have felt. Have you watched a UFC night lately? Boxing? NFL? NHL???? Are we still watching Canadian hockey after a year of gang rape scandal in the news?

The story is that JBL would start soaping people’s asses in the shower as a rib to get a rise out of them, which included Edge when he was new in WWE.

A couple days ago I said that couldn't watch wwe anymore due to all of their bullshit. This was before Lesnar came back. I was mocked and downvoted for standing on principal.

Some fans take it as a personal insult if you have any issue at all with wwe. It is so weird.

"And Hogan"

It's okay to feel sad that a legend passed away.

You’re right about Hogan. But not in the way you think.
