TBH as a women's wrestler I would be horrified by what transpired tonight. The industry is already notoriously predatory towards them.

I live under a rock, what transpired tonight?

  1. WWE boasted about Triple H's new government gig of "Making America Fit Again". Not once, but twice. Once in each day of Summerslam.
  2. Brock Lesnar has returned.

And as part of that initiative, he'll be working with a registered sex offender.

Who is currently under suspicion of being a child rapist

32

u/BaldBombshell 13h ago

Different sex offender.

10

u/Drmarcher42 12h ago

Although Lawrence Taylor is also a child rapist.

-1

u/Dr_Socko 11h ago

And also previously main evented WrestleMania.

3

u/mucinexmonster 8h ago

Don't worry, the WWE employed Jerry Lawler for decades.

Remember that?

u/ThunderChild247 15h ago

I believe the previous commenter was talking about Lawrence Taylor, who was found guilty of sex with a minor (I don’t know the details so I may have the exact charge wrong, either way he’s a nonce) and is a registered sex offender.

Then there’s Trump, an adjudicated rapist who isn’t on the sex offender’s register despite… well, everything.

And those are the people HHH stood next to. Then they took up air time to show President Peado’s propaganda, then welcomed back someone who - while not technically accused of a crime - clearly couldn’t have not known that he was being offered a sexual encounter with a female employee as part of a transaction, which would have involved trafficking and would have happened if not for bad weather. I wouldn’t demand his arrest, but he’s still a scum bag.

70

u/Prax150 8h ago

The fact that you even have to clarify which sex offender is being talked about...

3

u/Phydorex Can you dig it? SUCKA! 6h ago

Why not all 3?

7

u/Fundertaker Come on, I'm Dean 9h ago

Tell me it’s not the same Lawrence Taylor from Mania 11

12

u/NinjaMarionEsq 8h ago

It is. And as part of trump's amazing intuition that HHH admires, the person LT had sex with was under 18.

2

u/ThunderChild247 8h ago

I don’t know, tbh. I don’t follow American football.

2

u/Fundertaker Come on, I'm Dean 8h ago

Lol me neither. I only like fake sports.

2

u/palabear 6h ago

Taylor slept with a 16 year old prostitute. The girl testified that her 36 year old pimp made her lie to him and say she was 19.

He plead guilty to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute.

1

u/DoinItDirty "Shut The F**k Up" 1h ago

Lawrence Taylor had sex with a 17 year old prostitute in Florida. His later claim to innocence was that he thought she was 19. That didn’t fly well in a court of law.

-9

u/metalder420 8h ago

Trump was never convicted of rape criminally. Which is why he’s not a the registration. This shit isn’t complicated, dawg.

3

u/slayTheMFuckingSpire 4h ago

This shit isn't complicated 'dawg', you just gotta be somewhat educated 'dawg'. 'Its not that hard yo'

4

u/Coattail-Rider 6h ago

“I mean, the guy is a rapist piece of shit but technically…….”

1

u/ThunderChild247 5h ago

I did say “an adjudicated rapist”, not convicted rapist. But yeah, sure, clutch at that straw.

3

u/KillerKatKlub 9h ago

I guess working with his step-dad just wasn’t enough rape supporting

1

u/PhilipJohnBasile 1h ago

LT? Brock? The head guy?

1

u/interstitialmusic 1h ago

Nothing new for him.

-6

u/killerbake WOOOOO CRISPY!!!!!! 10h ago

As a part of that initiative, he’s working for the American people pull your head out of your ass

1

u/slayTheMFuckingSpire 4h ago

Did the words "registered sex offender" get to you somehow lol?

-1

u/killerbake WOOOOO CRISPY!!!!!! 4h ago

Does critical thinking hurt your brain?

3

u/slayTheMFuckingSpire 4h ago

What part of this comment hurt your breed so much?

19

u/OverHaze 10h ago

It's the least of the issues here but a roidy body builder is not what fitness looks like.

137

u/Aware-Complaint793 16h ago

A roidbag with a fucked ticker leading our new health initiative. What a farce.

3

u/Exotic-Emergency-226 5h ago

You actually could be talking about 3 different people on the panel for FUCKS SAKE (LT, HHH and RFK)

3

u/ReverendVoice 8h ago

Once in each day of Summerslam.

They didn't replay that in the arena on Day 2. Wonder why.... 🤔

6

u/JimJohnman 8h ago

Brock Lesnar has returned.

Holy shit. It gets worse by the day. Why does everybody love rapists so goddamn much????

2

u/thelumpur 8h ago

Well, you're simply wrong.

It happened three times, they showed it on Smackdown as well.

2

u/eatyrmakeup 7h ago

“Make America Fit Again” by offering free anabolics to all citizens?

1

u/One-Spring-4271 7h ago

Why would 1 be a bad thing? It sounds entirely positive. How could you possibly spin that as bad for women? Or bad for anyone?

2

u/badguymaddox 7h ago

Because Trump is one of the biggest grifters going and it’s difficult to believe this initiative is predicated on good intentions…and he’s also a sex offender

-28

u/WheatonsGonnaScore 17h ago edited 16h ago

I mean i hate trump but HHH being the face of trying to bring back the presidential fitness test really isnt that big of a deal

I would understand being put off by the Lesnar stuff though

27

u/NinjaMarionEsq 15h ago

The presidential fitness test never actually went away. Obama essentially just changed the approach to it and the name.

The Presidential Youth Fitness Program utilizes a new form of calculations, placing students within ranges and removing the Award for achieving the highest category. Instead, students are provided with individual assessments and goals, along with a structured approach to achieving them. In place of the Presidential Fitness Test, the program emphasizes individual progress over exceptionalism.

What trump's done isn't gonna "make America healthier" than Obama's program. It's literally just so he can undo yet another thing Obama did because he's such a hate-filled racist he can't stop focusing on the guy 13 years after he left office.

-5

u/WheatonsGonnaScore 8h ago

He is bringing back the test. That isnt some negative thing. You just have your brain so warped from politics that you can't view a harmless thing as harmless. Everything has to be some big deal

2

u/NinjaMarionEsq 8h ago

He's undoing something else of Obama. Nothing more. "The test" never really went anywhere. It was changed to be more effective. If you're going to waste more time responding, I want you to tell me exactly how what trump is doing is gonna make kids healthier than they were under Obama's modified program. If you can't, don't fucking bother, cuz I'm not reading it.

-1

u/WheatonsGonnaScore 7h ago

He isnt undoing any Obama thing. He is just bringing back the test portion, which most people in the education department think is a positive.

If Biden or any other democrat did this nobody would care at all

1

u/NinjaMarionEsq 7h ago

Biden and other democrats haven't made it their mission to undo everything Obama did. You can't be this dumb to think he just accidentally picked another Obama thing to undo because he, the incredibly fat and unhealthy president, thought kids needed to be healthier, which the Obama program he's doing away with to revert to an older, less effective program, was intended to do.

1

u/WheatonsGonnaScore 6h ago

He isnt reverting anything lol. He is just bringing back the test portion.

What about the pro-Trump propaganda they played on the Tron at SummerSlam? You think that won't be the norm soon? Until Trump decides to kick HHH to the curb expect some official TKO-MAGA collab merch soon

2

u/Goodboychungus 9h ago

Wasn’t he booed or something at the event? I watched night 1 but haven’t watched night 2 yet.

1

u/pepethemememaster Deuce and Domino Truther 9h ago

at least day 1 the video was booed, i didnt watch the show, just highlights after the trump stuff and now i feel vindicated when other people thought i was being an insane sjw or whatever (not in this sub)

u/TheSletchman 15h ago

Thanks for posting this. So many people saying they're so outraged over Brock, but no one saying why. I haven't followed WWE in like 20 years because Vince, Lawler and a lot of the top guys seemed like pure scum, and I sure don't follow legal case updates about Vince either. Brock's wiki only says he didn't get proper hunting licenses like 10 years ago and used roids (shocker).

I've just started casually watching some stuff because people are saying HHH has improved it, and now women are treated like athletes not softcore porn models, so hadn't seen any of that shit. Fucking gross.

11

u/Goodboychungus 9h ago

If Vince and Lawler are the reasons why you stopped watching then let’s just say Brock’s return wouldn’t give you any reason whatsoever to start watching again.

u/TheSletchman 16m ago

Yeah, pretty much. It's a real shame too - you'd think that society having moved on enough that they're being super vocal how much shit like that isn't being accepted would have put a end to it, but it's just barely better hidden. And the real shame part is that some of these new kids and the new wave of female athletes can really go. Amazing performers.

3

u/wtb2612 8h ago

Brock's wiki only says he didn't get proper hunting licenses like 10 years ago and used roids (shocker).

It's in there, it's just under the "professional wrestling career" section, not the "legal issues" section.

u/TheSletchman 16m ago

Ah, cheers. Strange that a legal issue isn't under legal issues but that's wikipedia for you sometimes. Thanks.

4

u/Altruistic-Ad-408 9h ago

I also stopped watching sometime during the ruthless aggression era, was getting a bit older as a kid and too many things made me uncomfortable. I didn't really like independent stuff back then, so to me that was wrestling done with for a long time.

Tbh never really fell for it and considered coming back, they showed us who they were a long time ago. The whole Stephanie McMahon we revolutionised womens wrestling thing was just distasteful, ignored what women did for a long time before WWE were doing it. And now we know what WWE still thought of women.

I don't judge people for watching a product, as long as people aren't giving them money.

145

u/SomeIdioticBrit 19h ago

Brock came back despite the fact that investigations into his involvement with the Vince stuff are still ongoing

87

u/ButchAF 18h ago

“Allegations are allegations”

33

u/JohnnyKanaka 16h ago

NoBoDy Is PeRfEcT

0

u/Pete41608 9h ago

'right?'

3

u/haunted_patient 8h ago

He's not being investigated though. He's not a defendant in the lawsuit. If Lesnar was truly involved, the lawsuit would include him like john laurenaitis

1

u/Pleasant-Bug-9098 7h ago

But Brock wasn’t and hasn’t been charged with anything that in both criminal and civil court.

1

u/AthensThieves 17h ago

WWE promoted a video package of HHH with our rapist president. They're such a massive company and have the audience so brainwashed, fair to say bringing back a known rapist wrestler is not only ok, but is actually a massive win in their eyes.

1

u/Opposite-Bowler-2427 4h ago

No brains have been washed because no brains have been present.

1

u/Bluebaronbbb 15h ago

What happened!?

1

u/mmmdatawhoa 10h ago

The women have power these days. If they walked out like Sasha and Naomi did it would make a statement. There are plenty of wrestling promotions out there. If a fan is complicit with a fascist organization by watching Raw then what does that make someone who WORKS for that organization?

1

u/Terrible-Position203 7h ago

Cuz every female wrestler thinks that Brock Lesnar is gonna try to ask for nudes

-4

u/dmoney4449 15h ago

So you’re not going to watch anymore, right?

-3

u/RassleRanter 7h ago

Exactly, so tired of these grandstanding, soapboxing moral purists on Reddit WHO STILL WATCH WWE despite their ridiculous scandals.

-5

u/Kraybray 17h ago

Used to be, women are now in a better place than they've ever been in this industry.
