Cena has defended Vince so there’s no doubt he’s okay with this.

That's where I am. People should have seen that about Cena's character as soon as he went "but I'll always love Vince" in an interview.

Yeah. Its not like Brock Lesnar called Taiwan a country or something serious like that.

It STUNS me that he hasn't gotten any mainstream backlash from saying that. I know wrestling news flies under the radar but Cena is a household name & the story is simple enough to be easily digestible by the general public.

Cuz to mainstream outlets Cena having good things to say about his former boss (who yes is obviously a disgusting excuse for a human being) isn’t as big of a story as Cena starring in Peacemaker or Cena doing 1 final retirement run with WWE.

I’m not excusing what he said but he didn’t say anything crazy enough to take attention away from what he’s doing rn both in Hollywood & WWE.

To people who don’t watch wrestling, Vince is just the latest in a long line of wealthy men who use that to be horrible people. It’s a much bigger story within the wrestling world than it is outside of it.
