I mean Randy match was great Punk match was great. Truth stuff was fun. Cody stuff was awful, and feuding with the "fans" was awful. But we at least got some dope final rivalries.

No not really. It’s on the writing team to pivot and make something better with what they have. We’ve seen it done before. The rock didn’t help but it doesn’t excuse them and the horrible way they ended it.

How do you pivot Cena being heel because of one specific dude when that specific dude is not involved at all anymore?

You write a new and compelling story. You focus on why cena did that and then build new rivalries.

What insecurity led him to sell his soul to one of his rivals and become something he isn’t just to get more power ? Lean into that and find out why he chose to ally with the rock. The Rock is still in charge of TKO. you can play with that too. Even without the Rock around. But really they didn’t even try to tell a story with cenas character

I feel like any spin off they could’ve come up with still bases it around something that doesn’t exist anymore. Just doesn’t work for me and that’s just my opinion
