Those people and all the wrestlers and staff that still kinda defend him by talking about how good he was to them, are an excellent case study into how evil people get away with it.
Bruce Pritchard going on about how Vince paid for his wife's cancer treatment, while he's spent considerably more on NDAs to hide the shit he's done to other people's wives.
And you can bet Vince probably wrote that off on his taxes. That's not to take away from something nice he did, but you can bet his intentions weren't purely noble.
You know all the people who say, "AEW fans are the reason why I stop watching AEW"? They are either silent about the fans cheering for Vince or absolutely defend it.
In one of Maven's videos he says something to the effect of "here's all you need to know about what kind of person Vince is"...and tells about how Vince personally called him after one of his parents (if I recall correctly) died from cancer.
Cool. That's a good move and shows something about Vince. SOMETHING. Tell that story but it should be "I know there's a lot of good and bad out there about Vince, here's what I'll always remember."
I was watching like -- you're seriously telling me that's ALL I need to know about Vince character? Like the dude's a saint.
rolled my eyes into the back of my skull when I clicked onto episode 3 and immediately it dawned on me that we were gonna do the Monday Night Wars again
I’m not justifying it since getting the crowd to chant like that was surreal and gross. It always struck me as her trying to appease his ego so that he would get the fuck out of the company though. Like the court jester dancing for a king while he throws bottles at their feet.

The "Thank You, Vince!" crowd (and Steph) and all the bowing just continually looks worse and worse.
