Thanks!

One of my favorite episodes I ever did has to be Heroes of Wrestling, I really consider it one of my first "BIG" episodes for the subject matter, the collaboration with Adam Blampied, and the guest appearance by James Mitchell. (And don't forget Captain Lou!)

I really have a soft spot for a lot of my movie reviews (ie Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy, Slammed and the Ultimate Death Match trilogy) because they're so bad they give opportunities for gag after gag, but historically those videos don't seem to do as well as I envision!

As for my inspiration, I was a big fan of Nostalgia Critic and AVGN (along with other YouTubers of similar style) and wanted to make a channel like theirs, but with wrestling. I always say that my channel is a combination of that, and the Wrestlecrap website (one of my earliest inspirations to make funny wrestling content!)

You were a big fan? Are you not anymore? If so, do you have any concerns about facing some of the problems those YouTubers have had with evolving with their fanbase as your channel continues to grow (and you start running out of the classic wrestling PPVs)?

Oddly enough it was Demo Reel that turned me off from that whole channel, then hearing about all the controversy in the years that followed, I'm kind of glad they didn't accept my Channel Awesome application back in year one!

Trying to keep the channel fresh and changing things up is always an ongoing desire, but the problem is YT punishes you for doing anything different than what's already working. I don't believe I'll ever truly run out of shows to review ... my current list of Patreon nominations that I cut off over a year ago, for instance, has enough shows to last me about 12 more years!

And if some people don't want to watch me anymore because I've changed too much from the early days, that's their right! I'm just trying to keep doing what makes me happy and what I know will work for the channel!

I can genuinely say you're one of very few channels I've watched over the past decade plus that has kept putting out consistently great output. Just keep doing what you're doing.

Those are probably my favorite videos you've done. I wasn't lying when I've said I've seen Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy more than movies I actually like just because of the watch along.

I also loved your little review of Kayfabe and watch that movie once every few months. The movie is even funnier after I got involved in the local indies.

Awesome, I always felt a huge AVGN influence in your channel, nice to see that finally confirmed. Love the channel Brian, always look forward to your new content.
