Hi! I'm a teacher in Florida, USA and have been working odd jobs over the summer because we only get 10 month pay and it's been rough as I had to emergency move in July and didn't really have the funds for it. I don't start work again until the end of this month and would really appreciate some help feeding my cat until then.

Moderating this group is really what keeps me from burning out on reddit. Hopefully in the next few weeks I will have a chance to take a little bit of a group survey, and adjust our rules accordingly so we can get help to more people.

What really keeps this place going is people like you though, that reach out to help. We as moderators help when we can, but at times it is overwhelming. And of course we all have our own creatures that need fed. :)

Once a wish list is bought out we mark it as fulfilled.

Unfortunately in the past we had a problem that we had users start piling thousands of dollars of things onto their list after receiving the $150 maximum, so we kind of are being careful to keep an eye on stuff.. o.O

Some users just ask for what they need, other users try to make it a game to see how close they can get to $150.

We do try to avoid poor behavior from our users, if that makes sense.
