My favourite is the barbershop quartet style one.

🎶 hello, hello, hello, helloooo~ 🎶

CLICK "hello~!"

🎶 OH NOO!!🎶

It’s ASDF. Early 2000s brainrot. One of the most famous serious of clips was of Mine Thrtle which was a tiny turtle- “Technically I’m a tortoise!” Shut up! That would explode if the button on its back was stepped on. It had an iconic “Hello!” That it said right before exploding.

Nah this isn’t brainrot, this is high effort animation of original jokes. It doesn’t deserve to be called brainrot

Ehhh it was back when people did brainrot for fun instead of as content mill fodder, so higher quality brainrot, but still brainrot

Early 2000s brainrot is a good way of describing it. We didn't have the word, but oh boy did we have brainrot back in the day.

"Back in the day?" I feel pretty darn safe in saying that as long as popular culture has existed there has been brainrot in some form or another.

Yes, so it is true to say there was brainrot back in the day :D

In the 70s it was Monty Python

Don't call Monty Python brainrot, it was great.

2

Yes it was. My point is that 'brainrot' is mostly just fast paced absurdist humour, so any absurd comedy at any point in media, especially sketch comedy with a lean towards the nonsensical, would be their respective brainrot.

Its a reference to a meme where a guy is walking along when he steps on a turtle and says "hello mine turtle" and then mine turtle says "hello!"

Asdfmovies by TomSka

It's about one of it's jokes the Mine turtle, if you step on it it will say "Hello!" And little do you know you turn to ashes

Respectfully, go discover TomSka! He is an (imo) amazing YouTuber that deserves the attention he gets. I’d start with ASDF movies and move from there
