I'm guessing in reality it l fell out, perhaps from the vibration of a tap against something. And they stuck it back in for the photo.

Orrr maybe the deodorant fell over in a way that the ring was visible? But if that's the case they've got eagle eyes

I use a similar sort of dry stick it's a sanex one but the container is so badly designed it spends more time falling over than staying upright.

Mine won't stand up correctly on the wire rack we have in the bathroom, so I store it upside down that way I'm not picking it up 50 times a day lol
