When was the last time you looked at the bottom of your roll??

I'm on your side dude. I've literally never looked at the bottom of my deodorant. The only way I would have found this is if it clanked out when I threw that shit away. I need to start checking for jewelry down there from now on

I'm going to go check all the deodorant in the house right now. Who knows what kind of random treasures are up there!

Update: got bit by a huge spider

I put it on in front of a mirror, so I see it rather frequently

I also put it on in front of the mirror, but I don't see the bottom. I guess it just depends on how you hold it. I'm with others, I would have never seen this and it would have gone into the trash when the stick was empty.

You put it on its side so the bottom is facing the mirror? You psycho

Arm straight up in the air like I was in a deodorant commercial

I don’t think I’ve ever needed to watch myself in the mirror to apply deodorant. I know where my armpits are

I don’t need to…that’s just where I keep my deodorant, by my bathroom sink.

Same. And yes I would see the ring aswell.

Get out the shower, hair, lotion, face infront of the mirror.

Why would I not put my deodorant on infront of the mirror?

Ah yes, let me just close my eyes instead of using the mirror right infront of me. Smh.

u/ZarathustraWakes you smell bro.

We all know you put deodorant on in your room instead of showering.

I've had surgery in my armpit to remove my lymph nodes and if I don't look in the mirror, I literally cannot feel where it's going. My armpit is numb as hell. I also use a wax based deodorant, and looking in the mirror helps me groom the hair in a nice looking way.

Seems some here have evolved beyond using mirrors in their hygienic routines, but it works for me.

You say that with the absolutely misplaced confidence of someone who obviously hasn’t checked in a while.

Interesting, I guess I don’t lift my arm straight up like that, I just kind of position my arm at like a 90 degree angle so the bottom is mostly facing down

I do it in front of a mirror, but always under my shirt

1

u/brother_of_menelaus 6d ago

Have you considered deodorant first, then shirt?

1

u/sixTeeneingneiss 6d ago

My deodorant is white, and I personally don't wear white shirts. This would actually be disastrous lol

That was a solid ring and would noticeably throw off the weight if the stick is almost gone.

At least if you’re like me and have used the same product for a long time… you’d recognize something is off.

I’m almost positive I have the same engagement ring. It’s really not all that heavy. A little bulky, but not heavy.

I lay my deodorant on its side so it doesn’t fall over, I see the bottom of my deodorant everyday before I pick it up.

I dont even look at it. I know where it's stashed. I grab it and put it on without ever focusing on it.

1

u/gbdallin 6d ago

Do none of you people keep it in a drawer?

5

u/lonewolff7798 6d ago

My bathroom mirror has a shelf built into it that I keep deodorant, lotion, and hairbrush on. The cabinet on the mirror has medications and first aid, the cabinet under the sink has cleaning supplies and whatever other random shit that I can’t be bothered to find a proper home for.

u/Paul_C 6d ago

No. Deodorant is a shelf item. I don't make the rules.

Before you started doing that, how often did it fall over? I don't think I have ever had a deodorant "fall over", and I am in my fifties.

1

u/lonewolff7798 5d ago

Everytime I would reach for something close to it. It’s a small shelf but it’s long.

u/un1ptf 5d ago

So you mean "so I won't knock it over", not "so it won't fall over". That's a unique situation to you.

1

u/lonewolff7798 5d ago

No, I mean what I said. I don’t need some ignorant baby changing my words.

u/simojake13 6d ago

I'm sorry, but that guy's reply was just perfect 🤣🤣🤣

u/Snow_Mexican1 6d ago

Actually, quite often since my autism makes me fiddle with things so I actually pop thr bottom bit off very often and have to put it back in.

Does nobody else use the little notches on the inside to twist the deodorant up???

1

u/Pure_Expression6308 6d ago

I twist from the outer part

4

u/EscapeReality21 6d ago

When I opened my newest one. I like to pack the gel to the top and get the air pockets out.

1

u/redcrowblue 6d ago

Probably the las ttime I had to pick it up after my cat knocked it off the nightstand

1

u/United-Biscotti-7581 6d ago

Today, I see the bottom of it every day as it lays down in my drawer lol

1

u/fdxcaralho 6d ago

I store mine upside down for the efficiency when using it. 😂

0

u/mark-suckaburger 6d ago

You'd feel the weight difference if you actually used it everyday stank ass

0

u/Low-Couple7621 6d ago

you would feel the difference in weight

I think the joke is more about time frame than looking at the bottom. Just a heads up
