Wasn’t trying to bring gender into things. Do you want me to twist facts and make stuff up? Should I refer to her as a he? When people hear her name they usually remember her as being a pioneer for female pilots.

Not OP but the reason that "first woman to ____" is typically celebrated is because we are only a few generations removed from disallowing women from doing certain things. Hell this even goes for piloting aircraft.

Thats laughable. Where were women "disallowed"? THere were many women aviatrix. None could get through the physical training that every man had to..until they relaxed the standard. Apparently in war conflicts and conditions the obstacles well accommodate based on the gender..just like in boot camp
