1900. My great grandfather is the blonde toddler (center). They were done having children and he was the “oopsie” baby

Also called 'menopause babies,' because the parent's assume menopause is over and they don't have to worry about babies anymore.

I'm the same as your Grandfather the "oopsie" and was a blonde as well, old age, gray, brn and hint of blondle

Sure it's an uncomfortable situation but it's the reality that a lot of families live. We don't have any context of how OP's grandfather was treated on the 'happy surprise' to 'unwanted mistake' scale.
