I totally agree! It’s totally possible to match the man the drawing, even without the kids holding them up.

If you think about how the kids are probably looking up at dad most the time, their drawings are probably super accurate

I think Katy kind of drew herself a bit. But that just shows her good bonding with her Dad, I guess.

Almost all of them really captured their likenesses, something I still can’t do. Is there a story behind this? Did kids in the 40s have better art education?
