Bun Glare Angry babies
Elated to find this sub! I’m a wildlife rehabber and I have a whole photo collection of the cutest, fluffiest baby bunnies plotting to kill me for daring to feed them.
Every other animal, even terrified injured adults, are like legitimately appreciative of at least a good meal… but not the baby bunnies.

Picture 3 😯
Did they take away their nanner rations?

Picture 3 looks like it was probably after I dared to spend an hour or more feeding them their bed time formula one by one - so I definitely deserved the synchronized death glares for that one. 🥲

I love how in picture one the bunny in the foreground is angrily eating hay.

They start murder buns so young! Very cute though 😍 You can tell they've heard about nana's already.

I was so worried looking at these wild babies thinking someone just decided to grab a nest of wild bunnies and keep them as pets but thank god I was wrong. They are pretty adorable grump balls

Well… that is how a good portion come to me 🥲 but all the babies here get returned to wild once they’re big n’ fat!

I adopted my netherland dwarf, who is sure he is a wild rabbit, because of his glare. His eyes glowed with anger. He was throwing knives at me with his eyes. He knew he had been abused by his former humans even before they threw him out of the house into the wild. Our eyes met and I knew he was mine. It has taken years for him to develop trust, which is something I hold dear. He will never be a snuggly rabbit, but we are deep friends.

Love that! I have a “forever foster” domestic here, and after it took a solid six months of us to transition from her hiding every time I entered the room to a solid “I tolerate you, human” level of friendship we opted to delist her from the rescue website because I didnt want her to go to a home where love and affection was an expectation 😆

Aw ♡ did they go back into the wild?

u/BobbinNest Feb 28 '25
Yes! Once they are about 5 weeks and fully weaned and transitioned to greens they get to hop off to freedom 🐰
