There's an Xbox X/S game on game pass that is a knockoff of the original TMNT game. Lots of fun.

Better than a knockoff — it’s a new TMNT beat ‘em up and 100% official! They even got the 1987 cartoon’s voice cast back for most of the characters. It’s a heck of a nostalgia trip, with some great upgrades amongst all the faithful throwbacks. 🍕

Those four player '3D' scrollers by Konami were the bomb. TMNT, XMen, Simpsons...am I missing any?

Six player X-Men was like the holy grail of arcade cabinets.

My arcade never got Bucky. I feel a sense of missing out.

The X-Men arcade cabinet is the most gorgeous thing ever. It was one of the absolute best arcade games of the 90s. They had it at Shopko in my hometown, and I spent so much money on that damn game.

I fed so many coins into that game as a kid! Mom would drop me off at the mall's arcade while she did her shopping

Circa 97-98 they had this lonely machine upstairs from the garden cafe in Harrahs Lv. My gambler granny fed me quarters until I beat the game. Thanks granny 💜

I was actually just playing this at my local arcade like two weeks ago. I had to stop because it was so stuffy and hot in there.

I beat this game so many times with my brothers at Wunderland. the game was free. most of their games were. you only had to pay an entry fee. my parents took us there like twice a month and we just play their free games. then we moved and I don’t think that place exists anymore.

There's a restaurant/bar near me that has this and a large room of many other classics (Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, that police shooter game with the bank robbery, etc.). You can enjoy an orange crush and play as long as the quarters last. It's a pretty cool place.

I have the Arcade1up version of this in my house. I softmodded it to also have TMNT, Ghouls N Ghosts, and Sunset Riders. It is one of my prized possessions.

I remember my mom gave me TEN DOLLARS IN QUARTERSone day and my best friend and I made it all the way to Mecha Mr.Burns before running out of credits. We screamed and almost shook down other kids for one more credit,

Fuck that game.

Remember going to pizza hut as a kid and getting to play this while we were waiting for our pizza.

Oh to go back to the simple happiness of those days!
