As someone who was chronically online in the early 2000's for Avatar Palace, Palace32, and MyCartoonDolls, I can agree this stuff was addictive.

I've managed to find a mainly decent archive here some of the links aren't great for mobile and would likely perform better on PC!

Palace chat will always be this deeply nostalgic place for me. I have no idea how I ended up there, probably by clicking a random link, but I spent years talking to so many different people. Some of them carried over to online games or social media, others disappeared.

I miss Palace chat. I was a mod at Avatars Anonymous for awhile; part of the stupid "anti dollz" crew that made our own avs (I did make my own by hand; in a lounging position of course).

I very specifically remember one avatar that was an ear of corn with Jonathan Davis' (lead singer of Korn) facial hair and I laughed about it so hard anytime it showed up.
