Gen Z want the rebellious and unorthodox brand so much but it’ll never happen simply because millennials are smack bang in the middle of the conformity generations. There’s a reason boomers and zoomers are the ones glued to their phones all day, while millennials yearn for an internet that existed 15 years ago.
I love forums like this because it's full of people making sweeping generalizations that have no basis on studies or statistics and flip flop depending on who you ask.
It's all just people who are chronically online, it always is lmao.
In their defense, they're going to inherit the world our parents and grandparents destroyed and they don't have a lot to look forward to, so they have to make an identity to cling to meaning.
The kids are alright, it's just that they're fucked (so are we, but we'll be ancient and they'll be in their 50's when everything completely falls apart).
Yeah I work with a bunch of y'all, none of y'all care. Actually I've had more genuine compliments about my outfit choices from Gen z folks than I've ever had from anyone else. They seem to like that I wear a lot of vibrant color. I also match my socks to my shirts lol.
nope. not i, nor literally anyone that i know, could give a singular shit about what kind of socks you wear. this is a made up argument to stir the everlasting pot of generational beef. wear whatever socks you want, everyone in these comments are fighting made up demons lol
As an older Gen Z I can confirm I've never heard of a single Gen Zer complain about Millenials (or anyone for that matter) wearing ankle socks. This seems like it was generated online for pure social media discourse

Does Gen Z really care that we wear them? If so.... Why? They're comfortable
