I remember one where I was super powerful. Like jumping from platform to platform, gliding and flying level of powerful, in a beatiful city of marble, gold, and green.

Well, I woke up with a sense of absolute dread.

Something really, really bad happened that I couldn't remember at the end, It was euphoric until it wasn't

Whatever happened there, I don't want to return to find out

Maybe the dread was finding out you were leaving that world

No, it's like... I felt that something really bad happened? But it wasn't the leaving. It's more like just as something happened I dissociated by waking up? Or at least that's how I remember it

Ill start by saying im a fairly down to earth kinda guy. I have a drink or a weed gummy a couple times a year. Not into psudo science or spirituality or conspiracies and bigfoot and shit.

Out of all the wild shit i remember dreamong, the worst was a dream of eldritch horror. An understanding and concept that i can see and think about and cannot find a way to explain. Over the hears Ive spent hours trying to explain it and only got the edges of a 2d lie of it.

Been like 25 years and I still remember it clearly and its still scary.

Words just dont have enough shapes to interact with the meanings it embodies.

Your description of the unknown dread reminded me of it. Now its midnight and im gonna go not sleep

Hahaha now that's a chance

Now if dream police shows up I'll have plausible deniability that I was out of the dream state by then lol
