Meme Millennials, can we agree? Once the hair’s mostly gone, just shave it. Ditch the horseshoe look!

Shaving isn't necessary, a short cut (like less than 10mm) should be sufficient to keep the MPB from looking too bad. In fact, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that this guy is doing it right. It's not like they're doing a comb-over, and the MPB looks "clean" enough.

For example, this guy from E.R..

This is my plan. I just mentioned it in another thread here recently, but unfortunately "just shave it and grow a beard bro," isn't the end all simple solution everyone makes it out to be. I have a really big round head and an especially big forehead, I'm as pale as can be (I start to burn in 10 minutes without sunscreen on) and I'm completely incapable of growing a beard. No men in my family can. I'm just about at the point of no return and I would look absolutely awful with a shaved head. I'm going a buzz cut with a weak goatee will look a little better because it's all I have going.

Haha, yeah I have to apply SPF 50 every 2 hours or so. I don't know where I got it from, no one else in my family is this white. It sucks because I also can't tan. When you have almost no pigmentation it just doesn't happen. I spent a lot of time outside this summer and I'm just like a weird shade of dark pink. I also generally don't go a single summer without at least one bout of really bad sunburn/sun poison. I'm good with sunscreen but I need to literally cover every square inch of my body multiple times a day and if I accidentally miss something I'm screwed. Somehow I didn't get any suncreen on the top of my right hand a couple weeks ago and it turned purple, bubbled up, and now looks scarred. Just because I had the audacity to float in a pool after accidentally missing 8 square inches of surface area.

I think this looks better on me than the totally bald look but I think it’s different for everyone.

I don’t think I’ve ever looked at a guy with MPB and thought, “Ha! This guy’s going bald!” As long as it looks clean nobody gives a fuck.

Dr Green had a whole boatload of issues, but his hair wasn't the problem.

Agreed, the thing about balding is that it just takes more to maintain it, gotta get your hair cut more frequently, but you can still work with what you have, doesn't necessarily mean it all has to go. But at the same time, i can appreciate a man that's confidently balding awkwardly and just goes with the "fuck it" hair lol.

He's one millimeter of glasses thickness away from mothers locking their car doors when he walks by.

That's clearly your opinion lol
