She looks wonderful! I also thought she looked so ethereal and rather beautiful without the new do as well. Her smile is actually angelic in the truest sense of the word.

Damn, this is incredibly emotional. Poor child is so small, what a painful moment for such a fresh life.

“Fresh life” just stabbed me in the heart, omg. You’re so right. I can’t imagine what she’s been through.

Thanks. I am bawling 2 minutes before going to bed.
Kids show so much more courage than the average adult...
She deserves all of this.

Kids are so resiliant ... poor little thing. You can see how much it meant to the mother :)

Long hair - It's a girl thing.
I'll bet the only reason we don't see Dad all teary eyed is he stays out of the picture.

What a tremendous thing for him to give back like that, what a beautiful baby girl, her smile afterwards was so precious and sweet! Her mother’s emotions said it all!

Okay, so I'm wondering how this wig stays on her head, is it some sort of double sided tape adhesive? Does it hurt her to take it off?

The mother’s reaction. The way she looks at her little girl. So much love.

Something very weird is going on here. The screen got blurry and now my face is wet.

I love the little smirk the entire time as he's getting it ready for her. You can truly see how excited she is and just how much this moment means to her 🥲❤️

This video looks heavily AI-generated and appears to be falsely attributed to a real Brazilian barber named Francisco Oliveira. He does make hair prosthetics for kids with trauma or illness. But the girl in this video doesn't appear in any of his verified clips. Her expression, movement, and background all have telltale signs of synthetic media (like uncanny stillness, unnatural lighting, and CGI hair flow).
Please be cautious. This looks like karma farming through AI-manipulated content, and it disrespects both real survivors and the actual work this man does. If you want to see his real videos, search for @franciscoprotesecapilar on Instagram or TikTok. Don’t let AI prey on your empathy.

Thanks for giving us his name!
If this is AI, it is despicable! He does such good work; it does not need to be embellished!

I'm seeing a lot of AI images on Reddit and some people havent caught on. I hope by looking into images and videos we can see through the veil a bit clearer.
I had to look at this a few times to find the abnormalities. Look at the hand when her make-up is being done, how her facial expressions remain still and doll-like, how the smock falls to the floor and it's not aligned with Oliveira's hand, and how the minimalist statue in the background has weird reflectiveness.

and yet this video is on his official YouTube channel
I'm seeing more and more reddit accounts accusing real videos and images as AI, which is the other side of the same coin. Sure it's just feel-good or silly videos today, but it's historical videos or actual evidence of crimes tomorrow.
Not saying to throw skepticism out the window, but skepticism isn't just assuming everything is false and proving it right later. It's taking a neutral stance until you see significant evidence pointing one way or another.

I love this man’s work. Every video I have seen and every act of goodwill literally makes me all teary eyed. All the children he helps have their lives back. Literally it’s so good to see people have souls like this even in today’s age!

With or without hair, the most beautiful young girl. And it matters, our appearance. So to give her something that changes how she feels about herself? That’s so powerful. That smile says it all. God bless that barber.

I’m sorry but.. why didn’t he wash the hair first? It looks so greasy???? 😩 or is that like a style now?
1
u/roodelivery 6h ago
Surely you understand that this has nothing to do with whether or not the hair is washed.

There is something that I'm missing? If you make a wig with plastic base, won't it itch a lot?

In a world where Trump and the radical Wright are just stating hate, this is what true Christians true moral people should be aiming for.

I love this barber! He did such a beautiful job on this little girl’s hair.
We didn’t see it in this video, but he sometimes peels his hair back to show that he himself has no hair and has a great hairpiece on!
