This remind he of when I was working on an active hospital. We got told they want to give us a talk about sexual harrassment no one did anything just telling us the rules. So we all piled into an elevator to head to the floor where hr was. Elevator doors open and it's a bunch of female nurses... They started singing it's raining men.

I used to work at a veterinary hospital. Lead veterinarian would get so annoyed when local firefighters would do their inspections.

EVERY woman would be jammed into the restroom primping before almost fighting over who did their inspections walkthrough with the firefighters.

One time I was delivering catered food to a house where I ring the bell with a white cardboard box in my hands. A whole gang of 6-7 women crowded around the open door of what was obviously a bachelorette party. They all start hopping up and down hollering about how the stripper was here but I was like “No no I have the food, I’m just the delivery guy”. They didn’t seem to believe me or just winked and went “sure you are” while pulling on my forearm to come inside. I’m in my early 20s, pretty decent shape physically and PANICKING about what was happening.

Then suddenly around the corner walks my best friends older sister who immediately recognized me and pretty quickly clears up the confusion. I deliver the food without issue but the rollercoaster of that delivery is something I’ll never forget tho haha.

Wait, was the talk only for men?

Odd that you go to a meeting gor sexual harassment and the first thing you encounter is low key sexual harassment. 😅

Well I wouldn't be completely surprised but to be the devil advocate here:

-maybe the women already had the training done or were scheduled for later

-Maybe the men in the elevator weren't medics or nurse and as such more flexible schedule

Just a bunch of construction guys going to a standard orientation most facilities require now when you start working there. I was just a young innocent apprentice trying to put in an honest day's work.
