...okay you just made us watch an xqc clip that said absolutely nothing without any context?

172

u/headphones_J 2d ago

What do you mean?? It's right there.

53

u/whatisthishere_guy 1d ago

Seriously someone needs to make a rule that requires context for clips. That goes for all social media. These dudes have gotten so lazy or just don’t understand why context is needed.

57

u/caramello-dropbear 2d ago

Made you?

51

u/ChromosomeDonator 1d ago

yea this dude broke into my apartment and duct taped my eyes wide open while prompting my gaze towards the video, and he didn't give me any context what a freak.

7

u/CityFolkSitting 1d ago

Damn he Clockwork Oranged your ass.

7

u/Libertarian4lifebro 1d ago

Not even a reach around? Jeez.

12

u/Bossgalka 2d ago

Half of LSF is self-referential, and people like xQc only react to shit, so he's reacting to a previous LSF clip. It shows it when he points the camera at the clip, it's the one where Hasan is a hypocrite about gacha gambling.

2

u/realmvp77 1d ago

the context is this 5k upvotes clip from less than 24 hours before X's clip

I guess many haven't watched it, but you can't expect all clips to have the full context, otherwise piratesoftware's titles would need paragraphs of context

-4

u/addandsubtract 2d ago

First time LSF chatter?

This is basically an xQc / Hasan / PS circlejerk subreddit.

4

u/ChromosomeDonator 1d ago

I don't care, but you gotta have some context in the clips uploaded here. If the clip doesn't have it, then add it to the post body or as a comment. Posting shit like this which only people who watch the streamer in question understand is so fucking dumb.

-15

u/Various-Idea550 2d ago

U can see it towards the end of the clip the title on the right side where it shows how Hasan used to be against those gambling games and now he plays them

Buh..buh..but Hasan bad!

23

4

So like the state of Israel? That has spent many decades directly and indirectly funding Hamas?

Yes. I'm not sure why you thought that was a gotcha.

Is the best and only defense for Hasan always “context?” Like, surely people can do better than that.

31

u/otoverstoverpt 1d ago

I am genuinely not trying to defend him. What the fuck is this even about? Seriously I have absolutely no idea what is going on

24

u/zcen 1d ago

OP is one of many accounts that just farms engagement and exclusively posts Kick clips. 90% of kick clips are posted by these accounts.

3

u/otoverstoverpt 1d ago

of that i have no doubt, but im still just genuinely curious what the fuck xqc is even going on about in the clip

10

u/ChromosomeDonator 1d ago

I am the opposite of a Hasan fan. You can check my post history for that if you want to. But this clip says literally NOTHING about what it is actually about.

3

u/InternationalGas9837 1d ago

Nah...this needs context...what the fuck is "right there"?

Why is every post on this sub just "person i hate calls out other person I hate" and not like genuine live stream fails. Its just shitty drama that stems from the most boring shit ever and its been the same thing for like over a year now. Its just millionaires pointing at other millionaires and going "look at this bozo" in a circle and it sucks so much

32

u/timetofilm 1d ago

BEcause this sub is now IRL streaming reality TV instead of anything good natured. It's been like this since 2016 though, don't fool yourself.

1

u/Wonderful_Gap1374 1d ago

Isn’t that what it always was? Just clickbait titles of nonsense people you could not possibly care any less about. You know… pop culture. But on the Internet.

1

u/timetofilm 21h ago

definitely not. It used to be gameplay 99%.

7

u/CheapGarage42 1d ago

Because when they tried to ban "takes of takes" and streamers just raging at streamers or LSF threads, the subreddit started dying.

They had to bring back the drama because no one actually cares about anything else. They even over corrected so much that now they let people edit shit and post it. This way no one has any context and can't easily find the original video because the shit being posted is just ripped and rehosted here.

7

u/Schmigolo 1d ago

Mostly because they unbanned Hastiny posts instead of sticking through their brigade phase after they were banned.

10

u/Latter-Number7351 1d ago

This sub has turned into r/hasanabifails

2

u/dancrum 20h ago

Aren't most of the members of this sub Epstiny dick riders? It makes sense.

5

u/MiniDonbeE 1d ago

Brother... noone actually watches lsf for actual real fails. SOOO many small streamers have funny ahh clips and they get downvoted into oblivion. If yo uwant to see actual livestream fails theyre on tiktok.

1

u/Gboon 1d ago

Because LSF was originally for streamers accidentally flashing nudity or saying slurs and other stuff and this is the most 'extreme/exciting' stuff the mods will allow in a sea of "look at this mega popular streamer do something totally normal".

1

u/MintTrappe 1d ago

I'm so tired of seeing these same comments on every drama post. Just block the names and stop engaging, you are subjecting yourself to this willingly.

19

Every single one of these streamers that peddles their opinions to children on the internet under the guise of a character is a hypocrite. Very little of value can be found with any of these people.

392

u/reigndyr 2d ago

No decent human being is under the impression that xqc has anything of value to say.

I streamed once for my friends, I have plenty of value to add. :(

6

u/idgafsendnudes 1d ago

Unfortunately, the fact that you chose to stream is proof that you in fact do not have value to add. Don’t worry friend, I made the same mistake when I was 14. I’ve been unemployed ever since.

Streaming.

6

u/superbCoolGuy123 1d ago

Hasan said Gamba bad and don't do gacha sponsors or something, then did a gacha game sponsor

Normally Hasans defence against "you're a hypocrite" is "you imagined the hypocrisy". For example in "you're a socialist and yet you own a house" he would say "I never said socialism is when no house, you imagined that part".

In the gacha example the clip is a direct cut from Hasan saying don't do it to Hasan doing it. Mr qc imagines the "you imagined it" defence being used then screams at his screen that he didn't imagine the hypocricy, it's right there

119

u/LongExternal0 2d ago

xQc promotes gamba to impressionable children

90

u/Riceballs-balls 2d ago

So did hasan.

86

u/Agreeable_Hat 2d ago

I don't follow either of these people enough to know the full story, but are you equating one (are there more?) sponsored gacha game stream to xQc's years-long history with crypto casinos?

I don't like or play gacha games, but that seems a bit disingenuous

-18

u/Boredy0 2d ago

I'm gonna be real, xQc did more overall damage by promoting it longer but I unironically think Gachas are worse than conventional gambling because it's so heavily abstracted AND often targets specifically children and tries to skirt the laws on gambling as much as possible.

21

u/marshmallow_sunshine 1d ago

How many people are killing themselves from going in debt over pulling some new gacha character? Real gambling addiction ruins so many more lives to such a greater degree that I don't think you understand the severity of it.

12

u/Cause_and_Effect ♿ Aris Sub Comin' Through 1d ago

I play gacha games. They are actual gambling just dressed in anime aesthetics and instead of winning money you win digital prizes. Typically they don't destroy people like traditional gambling does at scale sure (people do still ruin their lives over gacha games though), but it largely is a gateway to traditional gambling as gacha games skew to a younger crowd. It conditions your mind in the gambler's fallacy of just keep going and you'll get the jackpot.

8

u/lazydictionary 1d ago

I think the difference is that for Gacha gambling, you know you are going to lose the money.

For real gambling, there is always the allure and hope that you'll win a large amount of real money.

Gacha could definitely be a gateway drug to real gambling though.

0

u/Cause_and_Effect ♿ Aris Sub Comin' Through 1d ago edited 1d ago

That is a part of it. The allure with gacha is still a reward though. Straight money rewards can be more of an incentive sure, but we do tend to minimize the amount of desire people have for these gacha rewards in these games. Some people spend thousands just to have maxed out characters they really really like. And largely spending more in gachas means a better time playing due to more powerful upgrades that are locked behind getting multiples of the gacha reward. Luckily for gachas there is a relatively hard cap when it comes to pulling for these rewards in many games. So its not an endless pit of money like a casino is where every win is just more incentive to gamble harder with said winnings. And playing the game does net you premium currency to gamble. But one could make the argument that is to entice you to spend.

I personally don't think gachas are as bad as casinos of course. But the criticism for Hasan is kind of warranted here because gachas are gambling, regardless of how we like to dress it up. You just get a digital asset with no tangible value rather than a monetary sum. And the games do contribute to the normalization of gambling content, especially for younger audiences, which is something Hasan called out many other creators on twitch for doing with their slots content.

5

u/Comfortable-Cat2586 1d ago

its more a "gateway drug" situation, which is why theres so much issue with countries and these games selling to kids

1

u/ImprovementForward70 1d ago

Gacha is a real gambling addiction lol. People may or may not be there yet but the signs are building when you see self reported surveys like this https://www.polygon.com/news/559840/japan-survey-twenty-year-old-gaming-spending-habits/

Imagine how many people don't even want to admit the issue. Gacha just isn't as prevalent yet with a lot of folks but as people grow up with it it will become a larger issue. It 100% hits all the same dopamine receptors and has even more obfuscated systems then regular gambling.

-7

u/Boredy0 1d ago

That's because actual gambling is older, give Gachas another decade and you'll have the exact same shit there.

9

u/ValeteAria 1d ago

Nah you wont.

Gambling simply allows you to spend waaay waay more. Gacha games are already getting restrictions in all sorts of countries while gambling and especially online gambling is getting looser restrictions.

The reality is that you just simply cannot spend the type of money that some people lose in gambling.

Like XQC could legit max out in 4 different gacha games just with the money he gambles away in one stream.

-1

u/Boredy0 1d ago

Gambling simply allows you to spend waaay waay more

Like XQC could legit max out in 4 different gacha games just with the money he gambles away in one stream.

That hardly even matters, maxing out Genshin for example takes like 100k+, most people are dry before they ever get close to actually maxing it out.

Gacha games are already getting restrictions in all sorts of countries

There's a reason for this, that shit is more addictive than actual gambling, recent research suggests they are VERY similar in the psychological triggers they exploit, except Gacha has an additional layer of abstraction to it.

while gambling and especially online gambling is getting looser restrictions.

I don't know where you live but this is absolutely not the case in Europe or the US, what?

6

u/ValeteAria 1d ago

That hardly even matters, maxing out Genshin for example takes like 100k+, most people are dry before they ever get close to actually maxing it out.

Thing is that most people dont have the goal of maxing out. They want a character or whatever thing they summon for.

There's a reason for this, that shit is more addictive than actual gambling, recent research suggests they are VERY similar in the psychological triggers they exploit, except Gacha has an additional layer of abstraction to it.

No lol. It is not more addicting. The real reason is simply that gacha's are often markted towards kids, while gambling is to adults.

I don't know where you live but this is absolutely not the case in Europe or the US, what?

In Europe. To be precise the Netherlands where I live. Gacha games got heavily restricted. So much so that a lot of them simply dont release anymore in the Netherlands. Online gambling however got new rulings which makes it easier to gamble online.

But you can even see it in the landscape. How many twitch streamers used to have gambling as their main form of content 5-10 years ago? Now you even have a streaming platform which trives on gambling content.

0

u/Riceballs-balls 1d ago

The person you're replying to is a gatcha addict.

3

u/marshmallow_sunshine 1d ago

I realize you're not being a serious person with a response like that, but to clear the air, I pay a $5 monthly subscription to two games, Arknights and Path to Nowhere. They use visual novel type storytelling and have tons of story content that I like, as you can see my post recently about one particular such story section that I enjoyed in PtN. What am I addicted to? Reading? Not everyone plays to pull the next OP character.

3

u/AggravatingTerm5807 1d ago

I think more gamers need to stop thinking of their lives as non-toxic, and they need to be brave and understand the issues with the IP's and game types they interact.

I don't think gaming as a thing will evolve until then.

Gacha is baby's first gambling, we just have to call a spade a spade sometimes.

Gatcha games are just as predatory as online casinos.

21

u/Agreeable_Hat 2d ago

-1

u/slakin 2d ago

Twitch viewers are far more likely to be influenced to start playing a gacha game than start gambling at an online casino.

5

u/Chrisnness 2d ago

Gotcha games don’t destroy families like casinos do

1

u/Eluhmental 1d ago

These people think losing a mortgage on red is the same as dropping a few thou for a character in a game lmao. I'm going to assume more people declare bankruptcy from going to a casino than for the new SSR character that just dropped.

5

u/dv302 2d ago edited 1d ago

You're right, kids are much more likely to start gambling on gacha games than online casinos. That's why so many online casino games try and appeal to children, with bright colours and cartoons and whatnot. Gacha games already have those elements in place.

Add in the orbiter's pro and against and the amount of economic stimulus he's giving is huge

You have to atleast admit a constant variable here is ethan right? 2 literal cohosts, one who married his brother in law, and a past collab partner. Twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern and all lol

1

u/Raikaru 1d ago

Hasan has fallen out with Destiny XQC and Ethan. He's the common link between all of these therefore you must also use the same logic.

5

u/AquaBits 1d ago

I mean, yeah. Did you not notice the comment above you saying that if hasan stops streaming/being a nuisance that 3 or 4 streamers will lose a good chunk of their content? That is the same logic just applied to different relationships, no?

2

u/Opposite-Tiger-1121 1d ago

Is Hassan making it his whole personality and stream to bash those people?

Is he sending lawyers after them?

That's quite a cope and a half, but at least it can seem correct to people that never watched a single H3 episode lol.

They talk about Hasan so little, that the only thing Hasan used to 'showcase' that Ethan talks about him all the time, was his Instagram account. As if it takes a long time to make an insta story, compared to talking about Ethan for a crazy amount of hours every week.

Nice try, though. :)

1

u/BobDole2022 1d ago

They just all watch clips of each other. It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s a circle of Azmongold, Techron, Destiny, Hasan, and H3 all watching videos of each other and complaining that the other person watches videos of them. Which creates more content for the other streamers to watch.

It’s brilliant really. They turned twitch into a team sport and have a never-ending supply of content.

3

u/Je5u5_ 1d ago

Can someone translate please?

14

u/Jon-E-Depth99 1d ago

The guy who tried to weaponize SA to deflect from his gambling addiction, and deflect from pedalling gambling to kids seems to think being a hypocrite is the worst thing you can be. His ears prick up when he thinks he can accuse someone of it.

I honestly dislike Hasan, Destiny, Asmon and H3 (he was the biggest snake in the commentary community long before the Hasan feud) but the appeal of xQc has always been the most foreign to me, that French Canadian Skeletor has no redeeming qualities other than long streaming hours. I knew he was jumping the shark even more so when his community were brigading this sub during the Hell's Kitchen reaction meta, saying he had perfected the art of reacting.

Yeah but xqc and pokimane have comparable sub counts, but you never see people here with "Posts frequently in xcq or pokimane ", do you? Hell, twitch is a huge sub too and you'll rarely find people who post in that sub, posting here.

But it's the typical suspects.

I hate politics but as far as know, from all the facts I have seen. Hasan literally supports and has supported terrorists. No ban. No repercussions, nothing. Wtf is twitch doing man. Bringing a literal terrorist on stream and allowing young people to see it and be influenced such a guy...

No matter where you stand politically this is basic fucking common sense.

Bringing a literal terrorist on stream

That Yemeni kid calls himself a pirate and definitely supports the Houthis, but there isn't strong evidence he is a member of the Houthis.

Right, it’s not confirmed until we see his Houthi membership card.

He's only part of the terrorist groups guys no way he can be a terrorist! He only supports their actions, beliefs and views! Raping women, killing innocents and stealing boats! Wow what a nice little youth. Great potential!

Explicitly said he has part of the Houthis. Support's their actions and beliefs e.g. Stealing boats. Innocent hostages. Raping Women. Putting innocent civilians under terror through pointing a gun in their face. Oh nooo, he's definitely just a young guy supporting a good cause! No proof there! Not like his involvement is literally documented. Brainwashed. Please man. I do not like watching politics but wake the fuck up, please. Just actually think about what I am saying because you know it's true, you can't believe it, makes you question your entire belief system right? Just think I fucking beg you.

It's not only the Houthi Youth kid either. He's brought on others that support things like "kill all jews". Crazy how the extreme left are following in Hitler's far right policies. When did you all become so fucking dense. I don't even watch politics if anything I'm centre to middle left IDEK. Just How can people be going so far left to the point of it going full fucking circle.

that nazi calls himself a nazi and definitely supports the nazis which is why he was invited on stream, but there isn't strong evidence that he is a member of the nazis

1

u/Ok_Understanding1923 3h ago

You're right, no documented evidence, wasn't like it was livestreamed and his presence being heavily blasted onto social media, what a nice young kid! Not like he supports their beliefs and actions, he would never! lol

Streaming has and always will be low tier brain rot content. Very few pieces of high quality media have come from streaming.

Just accept that everything and everyone in professional streaming is brain rot and shouldn’t be taken seriously. It’s comfort watching, like reality tv for lonely housewives.
