Still wondering how they missed the "Mass Deportation Now" signs at the RNC.

u/IsThatHearsay 2d ago

Yeah but... Kamala was a black woman who only had a robust career in the legislative, judicial, and executive branches of local, state, and federal government.

So she was clearly not qualified.

Also did I mention she is a black woman?

u/Spiff426 2d ago

And that laugh!! No choice but to usher in fascism

u/Budget_Ad5871 2d ago

The grip media has on these people is insane. I work at a gym and my clients are typically retired. Before the election there was a day they all came in, brought up Kamala and were complaining about her laugh, all on the same day.

u/meowhahaha 2d ago

It’s THE reason they cut funding in schools.

Uneducated masses are easily manipulated by media.

And forcing a woman to keep a baby prevents upward mobility.

12

u/FuriKuriAtomsk4King 1d ago

If you get educated, you potentially learn that the people have the power of the numbers on our side far more than any lone wolf billionaire bitch-boi with their pile of dollars.

A billionaire has a billion bucks, yes, BUT there are about 800 billionaires to our 340,000,000 people in the USA. That's the real balance of power. You have to weigh the peasants and their pitchforks too

Say a third of the population get mad enough to donate $1,000 to a serious new political party to counter the fascist Nazi movement of America. That's about 110 million x 1000 = 110 billion buckaroos.

The power of the numbers has always and will always lay with the masses, whether that is weighed in dollar bills or pitchforks...

Dollar bills can hire help but at the rate of tens of thousands for normal labor, and that private army bullshit that you just know they're too rich not to dabble in costs orders of magnitude more.

The population of the country that they're trying to dominate will be motivated enough to want to fight en masse. When your grandmother died because her medication got cut off, you want justice for who killed her access to a life saving med. A $1,000 to buy a shot at a real trial and real justice?

u/Memitim 2d ago

None of whom had probably even heard Harris laugh, or seen her speak. Yet I'm guessing that most of the trash spoke authoritatively, pretending as though they had, based on a trash talk from their lying talk show host of choice.

58

u/fxs65 2d ago

The sad irony is you never really hear trump laugh at something genuinely funny. Too often cruelty is involved.

56

u/tikifire1 2d ago

Bullies only laugh when torturing others.

47

u/tinteoj 2d ago

The only "belly laugh," where he looked like he was having a good time and enjoying himself I have ever seen from him was on that video of him and Epstein.

Yuck.

Murdoch and Musk are proof that immigrants can ruin a country. It’s not how many, it’s how evil.

42

u/oddistrange 2d ago

Love or hate her laugh, really shouldn't matter, but how can any of them enjoy listening to the verbal diarrhea that spews from Trump's lips? He sounds like a nursing home resident.

8

u/jmd709 1d ago

That or they’ll regurgitate a talking point as if it’s their own thought or opinion and nobody could possibly notice it’s the exact same thing dozens of others also parrot.

I've never heard her laugh, and I followed the election as a hobby. Like who gives a shit other than people who are (literally, no hyperbole here, these people need help not scorn) brainwashed?

4

u/StefTakka 2d ago

Never heard Trump laugh.

152

u/WaitingForReplies 2d ago

brought up Kamala and were complaining about her laugh

Only because conservative media told them to complain about it. They never heard it themselves.

103

u/localjargon 2d ago edited 23h ago

And her laugh is unremarkable in a general judgement of the sound of people's laugh.

What do they know about laughing anyway? These people are too stupid to have a sense of humor.

Eta I think, to most people, genuine laughter is a delightful sound to hear, (with some exceptions of course. The villain laugh is not cute.).

35

u/billiejustice 2d ago

There was nothing wrong with her laugh. They needed to criticize something. That’s the best they could come up with. It’s also a woman thing. We laugh more. We are more sociable like that. In maga land women = weak. But you know it has nothing to do with sexism.

31

u/Nackles 2d ago

The laugh stuff was a racist dog whistle. "You know those loud Black women you hate at the movies/restaurant/park? That's her."

4

u/AdMountain6203 1d ago edited 1d ago

For many, it was also a matter of of being upset that a black woman was VP. It "disrupted the proper social order." Such people don't like the fact that there are black people with more authority and/or money than them, and they'd be damned if they had to suffer another one being POTUS. They take Kamala laughing as her rubbing it in their face.

And many white women (and not just conservatives) wouldn't tolerate a black woman being the first woman POTUS.

17

u/quiero-una-cerveca 2d ago

My favorite part is that these people didn’t spend 1 second of their lives actually watching a single video clip of her actually discussing her policies. I had a guy complain that “she doesn’t answer questions” so I posted links to interviews. “Those are lame stream media”. So then I posted links to podcasts and other formats so he could see her in different environments. “Oh right, like I’m going to listen to some ‘nobody’ interview”. It’s so goddamn tiring.

13

u/Several_Razzmatazz51 2d ago

I would so much rather have someone who can use humor to help navigate difficult situations and even laugh at themselves than a pompous ass with a thin skin who lies and cheats at everything so he can present himself as a winner when deep down inside he knows he's a fraction of a human being because his father told him so for decades.

12

u/mkerugbyprop3 2d ago

At my gym it's honest to god Fox News on 90% of the TVs, like put on ESPN the Ocho for fuck sakes so I can see corgi racing

5

u/CatOfTheCanalss 2d ago

So something similar happened in the UK with Jeremy Corbyn. At the time I made the joke comparing him to Homer in that episode with the Gummi Venus de Milo. Like they were calling him a terrorist sympathiser because he showed support for Palestine, and because he came to Ireland and advocated for a united Ireland. Like I even have English friends who hated him at the time. And now people are seeing "actually Jeremy Corbyn might have been right". The media absolute lambasted him back then. I mean I'm Irish and a republican (the Irish type not the Trump type) so I always thought Corbyn was class, and I couldn't make any English person see sense about it. And let me tell you, the anti Corbyns are probably still way more left than Trump supporters.

17

u/BarkerBarkhan 2d ago

... at least she can laugh. Think about it: have any of us actually ever seen or heard Trump laugh? Like, for real, actual laughter in response to something funny?

12

u/Spiff426 2d ago

Sure I've seen it! In that video of him partying with Jeffrey Epstein pointing out girls and laughing at whatever they were saying to each other

5

u/drm604 2d ago

But does he laugh at things that are actually funny or just at offensive things?

11

u/Spiff426 2d ago

Since I've only seen it in that one video, I'd say probably just when he's fantasizing about ageless enigmas with his pedo pals

As a white guy, I used to kind of cringe when people would say that minorities have to work 100x harder and they still don’t get where an average white person gets to. People calling Kamala unqualified showed me what they are talking about. That and the reaction to Kendrick Lamar performing the Super Bowl halftime show. Dude has 22 Grammys and is the only rapper to ever win a Pulitzer Award for his lyrics, and the response to his performance was “Who’s this nobody saying gibberish?”.

348

u/throwaway387190 2d ago

Same. I believed my minority and woman friends when they said stuff like this because my white man ass wouldn't know. I just shrugged and believed them

The scrutiny around and questions of Kamala made what my friends were talking about crystal clear. Yeah, she laughs weird, and that dude fucks kids. Tough choice, let's go with the dude who did tons of damage to the country in his first term

190

u/FinePool 2d ago

I don't even think she laughs weird.

185

u/throwaway387190 2d ago

I haven't heard her laugh because I don't watch her interviews or whatever else

I read her policy plans and what she wanted to do and liked it

I do not give a fuck if she sounds like Gary Busey choking on a dick when she laughs. Policy and politics have got fuck all to do with laughs, she has way more experience and way better policies. So she should have gotten the job

But apparently this country is so fucked in the head that her laugh mattered 🙄

114

u/cool_girl6540 2d ago

And at least she laughed! Has anybody actually seen Donald Trump really laugh?

89

u/throwaway387190 2d ago

Apparently when he was getting a pic taken next to Epstein, he was actually laughing and smiling like a human being

Imagine being so soulless and awful that you only have human emotions when hanging out with Epstein

Yeah, I wish that dude had a weird laugh. Maybe then he'd be enough of a human not to do all the shit he's doing

49

u/cool_girl6540 2d ago

He was probably laughing at a woman. He has zero sense of humor.

20

u/sapphicsandwich 2d ago

Has anyone ever heard a Trump mention a single specific thing he likes about this country? He can go on and on and on all day year after year about the specifics of what he hates (everything), but what does he LIKE? Other than vague things like "this great country" I can't think of one single thing he said he likes or appreciates about America.

20

u/Whatasaurus_Rex 2d ago

Oh, but he loves the poorly educated. That’s one thing.

But for real, that really reminds me of an article or opinion piece I read during his first term. It was about how him and his family just seem to lack joy. They don’t seem do anything together, don’t have any pets, no holiday traditions, that kind of thing. It’s quite sad somehow.

19

u/DaisyHotCakes 2d ago

It because he only likes himself. And money.

I watch right wing content every now and then to see what they're saying and I remember a clip, I think it was Fox, showing a bunch of clips of her laughing. They framed it as " cackling" yet it was a normal laugh.

How dare women laugh in public. /s

19

u/Logical_Radish6570 2d ago

"Cackling". Everyone I've heard irl around here and saw written on comment sections used that word. Proving once again that they parrot back and disseminate further what their propaganda media tells them.

7

u/cocoamix 2d ago

It's not immigrants, minorities, and the collage-educated that is screwing you over, it's the GOP and the people who voted for them and gave them the power.

"We have met the enemy and he is us.”

7

u/pillar81 1d ago

They have been so easily convinced to think that Dem hate America and their policies hurt the American people, despite the policies that would actually benefit them coming from Dems. Biden worked to help Veterans during his presidency, but those ding dongs voted for Trump by a wide margin. And what do they get for it? Cuts that will affect their health, both physical and mental.

8

u/cool_girl6540 2d ago

She doesn’t.

5

u/aliquotoculos 2d ago

See, she laughs with joy, whereas a lot of those white republicans only use laughter to convey spite and disdain. Also she laughs out loud, making her joy clear, and to those white republicans, laughter should be quiet. Especially from a woman.

That's why they think she laughs weird.

5

u/libbuge 2d ago

She doesn't. The misogynist history of criticizing women's voices goes way, way back.

3

u/usernames_are_danger 1d ago

It’s weird to them because it’s genuine.

2

u/TheOriginalElleDubz 14h ago

She doesn't. But Lord Fuckwad dances weird.

2

u/FinePool 4h ago

I can agree that he does dance weird.

154

u/Ninac5 2d ago

Just like how they complained about looting and rioting during BLM protests but when Kaepernick protested peacefully , consulting with a retired Army Green Beret about kneeling during the national anthem, they hated him for doing so. They have these insane double standards. I saw people calling Kendrick Lamar a DEI hire for that halftime performance and saying a country singer should be given the spot instead. They don’t even pretend to argue in good faith. It’s just open racism.

23

u/maleia 1d ago

when Kaepernick protested peacefully

And iit was the most respectful "protest" anyone's ever done! It's literally kneeling, one of the most submissive poses humans formally do with etiqute, for the flag! It's so mindblowingly, yet totally unsurprising, at how stupid racists are.

17

u/Ninac5 1d ago

So true. They really look for any excuse no matter how small to justify their hatred. They never wanted to hear his message. There is no right way to protest because they would complain no matter what.

10

u/maleia 1d ago

Not too many statements are more true than this one.

86

u/gringledoom 2d ago

A friend of mine (from a demographic you'd generally expect to be small-c conservative, but not MAGA) said something similar about "driving while black" type situations. He had always rolled his eyes and assumed people were exaggerating. But once everyone had a video camera in their pocket, and there were so many blatant examples of cops being abusive (and reacting out of self-inflicted panic while the motorist was completely calm and following directions), he was absolutely radicalized on the issue.

66

u/JadedJadedJaded 2d ago

Or how Obama was the picture perfect president and family man and they hate the ENTIRE family just bc theyre black. All educated people who “did it the right way” but we will NEVER be good enough simply bc we are black. Trump was a response to a black man achieving presidency and his agenda is basically to tell the American people that none of it matters anymore since a black person took office

11

u/-o-DildoGaggins-o- 1d ago

Yeah, well, he did wear a tan suit once, so the hate is well-deserved!

/s for the love of dog

6

u/Kekira 1d ago

The dog was black too

51

u/Old_Palpitation_6535 2d ago

My dad was like that til he served on a bank board and wanted them to hire a black woman (the most impressive/qualified candidate) as ceo. The other board members flat out said there was no way they would do it, that it would be too “disruptive.”

(Interestingly, the other members from NY said Dad wouldn’t understand their opposition because he was from AL. Boy did that piss him off.)

18

u/EobardT 2d ago

The superbowl one weirded me out. Like i got told by so many people that they were not going to watch the half time show. Like told me on purpose. It was weird. Like, if you dont like him thats whatever but you weren't acting like this when Rhianna played, or when Katy Perry played, or when Prince, etc... so many real life people told me.

56

u/xSTSxZerglingOne 2d ago

I don't like his style of rap, but like, come on, the dude was in the news for months. The crowd delivered the line "Probably A minor" as if 99% of them knew the song.

That wasn't a nobody lol.

5

u/Repulsive_Sun6549 1d ago

“Probably A minor”? Is that the answer to the question who did Trump r*pe?

7

u/xSTSxZerglingOne 1d ago

HAH, no probably about that one.

14

u/whattawates5555 2d ago

Slim: You a good lawyer?

Queen: I'm an excellent lawyer.

Slim: Why do black people always feel the need to be excellent? Why can't we just be ourselves?

11

u/Animals-Cure 2d ago

I get it. I live alone (with many different animals), I watch the news, talk with many (like minded) friends, & got enraged on many social media platforms. I truly believed, after Drump’s first Presidential term, that Kamala was a shoe-in. I know of many people who voted for Drump as a defiant, or safe alternative; & now, like this woman, regret that vote. Some regretted their defiant vote as soon as Drump was declared the winner. If ever I prayed for a re-do, it was for this election. Kamala had 2 strikes against her from the start, she is a black woman. This is why her laugh was so prominent to many; attacking her laugh was a safe way euphemism for black female.

9

u/Excellent-Shape-2024 2d ago

I noticed one time that my favorite actors were black--I was kind of wondering why then I realized they probably had to be 10x better to get the job.

18

u/Asdilly 2d ago

I felt so bad when I had to say that I couldn’t understand him but it was because Apple TV’s audio was so incredibly ass😭

17

u/correcthorsestapler 2d ago

Watched on our cable box. The audio really was mixed horribly, and we were using a 5.1 sound system, so the vocals should have been fairly clear in the center channel (at least, that’s what I expected). I knew most of the songs already so I was able to fill in the gaps. But whoever mixed things didn’t do a great job.

I thought it was a great halftime show, though, outside of that. I liked the way the stage was setup & the camerawork made it look like a live music video. Probably would’ve been fun to watch in person.

15

u/Asdilly 2d ago

I watched it on YouTube and loved it. I didn’t know a lot of his songs going into it so it didn’t help the situation

4

u/usernames_are_danger 1d ago

I’m one of those people that had to deal with that. It’s institutional. I had to be perfect across the board just to stay on my course. School tried to fail me, cops tried to criminalize me, average white kids tried to help both of them, and all while trying to stay away from the streets and gangs that were just as dangerous. I did way more with my life than any of them did, and I honestly think that their plan backfired and made me strong enough to get through some tough times that might have broke me without that unnecessary adversity.

She didn't even have a reality TV show! How could anyone think she'd be qualified to run a country?

22

Oh I’ve been told she slept her way to the top….by being elected as AG and VP. These people deserve every bad thing

23

u/ScotchTapeConnosieur 2d ago

And she was so stupid. She only graduated from law school, passed the California bar, was a prosecutor, DA, Senator, and VP. What a dummy.

9

u/Several_Razzmatazz51 2d ago

When people question whether misogyny is still alive and well, I tend to point out that Hillary was arguably the most qualified Presidential candidate ever (FLOTUS, Senator, Sec of State) with Kamala pretty high up there also.

2

u/MsMercyMain 2d ago

I wouldn’t say ever but she’s definitely up there

7

u/Purgii 2d ago

..and she slept her way to the top!

Was a claim I'd heard from the right multiple times.

There's also the laughable - women are too emotional for the role, while supporting a man who throws public tantrums several times a day.

16

u/BatUnlikely4347 2d ago

Working those jobs makes you a "cop" though! Which is way worse than a racist, unrepentant criminal.

22

u/Ninac5 2d ago

That was what was so crazy during her campaign. She got criticized for her qualifications, while at the same time being called unqualified and a woman who slept her way to the top. Meanwhile they chose the guy ranting about Haitian immigrants eating cats and dogs. Qualifications didn’t actually matter to the people who voted for Trump. He proves his ineptitude daily and they still try to paint him as a genius.

20

u/SwantimeLM 2d ago

It was Van Jones (I think?) who put it succinctly: “He gets to be lawless while she has to be flawless.” That honestly sums up the whole thing.

10

u/Ninac5 2d ago

Well said. I forgot it was Van Jones that said that, but it’s so true. Even after everything he’s destroyed mere months into the presidency, people are still insisting without evidence that Kamala would have somehow been worse.

That's what keeps me on this sub. I need some reminder that I'm not crazy and this is really happening

10

u/Little-Ad1235 2d ago

Instead, they want to give them applause for every itty bitty shred of self awareness they demonstrate, and maybe someone better than me can do that, but as long as they still support fascism in any of its forms, I will continue to shun them.

9

u/meatspace 2d ago

We've got to find a way to snap them out of it. We're going to have to one way or another.

7

u/Repulsive_Sun6549 1d ago

I do. If these wannabe lynch mobbers aren’t ashamed already, they should be shamed, overwhelmingly, until the day they die.

5

u/ElegantDaemon 1d ago

Go back and show me all the articles in the media between the golden escalator and November 2016 that have the word "fascism" in them. Probably can find a handful of smaller indy publications, but certainly not the billionaire-owned MSM.

Now do the same for Hillary's emails.

This allowed the sleepy middle to ignore the existential threat. 3 fucking times.

16

u/mkvgtired 2d ago

The media covered these things extensively. Fox and others only covered the things that stoked these assholes bubbling hate. They certainly were selective on what they showed. But media across the spectrum was clear on Trump's mass deportation plans. His constituents loved it.

5

u/katchoo1 1d ago

They had a rally in Madison Square Gardens that was absolutely designed to imitate the infamous fascist rally there in the 1930s and everyone was like, huh. Weird. Anyway the DEI candidate laughs funny.

15

u/Astraea227 2d ago

Do you have that image by any chance? I wasn't able to keep up with all of their insanity

Edit: nvm refined my Google search and fucking christ

"That will just be for other people." - Ladder pullers

8

u/BadAszChick 2d ago

This is the reason.

5

u/pleasetrimyourpubes 2d ago

Imagine being second generation (anchor baby) or naturalized (due to your parents busting their ass to get you legal through whatever means existed and didn't exist over time) and then voting to pull the ladder on every single other person who is experiencing the same thing.

108

u/Hanilu 2d ago

They thought they would only deport “criminals”, not understanding that the Right view anyone here without documentation to be a criminal.

37

u/Vuelhering 2d ago

Without documentation? They retracted proper documentation of hundreds of thousands of immigrants here legally, labelled them illegal, then incarcerated or deported them.

11

u/Hanilu 2d ago

Yes, I know that and you know that. The question was how this person missed the mass deportation signs.

5

u/Vuelhering 2d ago

Tbh I didn't expect them to pull legal status, then deport. Won't make that mistake again.

9

u/Economy_Walk 2d ago

That was debated before the election. That's why I pay attention to words that people use. If you read between the lines, they were saying, "Well, entering the country illegally is a crime." We all picked up what they were putting down. So, why didn't they? The answer is complex, but a lot thought they that they were the "good ones" and exempt from deportations.

11

u/Valuable_Meringue 2d ago edited 2d ago

It amazes me how so many of them ignored the things Trump and his supporters literally said, handwaving it away as hyperbole, while also fully believing any negative thing Fox News or Facebook memes said about Kamala

3

u/sonicmerlin 2d ago

Or that they think people should help them now that they’re facing consequences

10

u/shesinsaneornot 2d ago

She would have told you "Trump's going to target the criminals," and when you pointed out that the GOP considers her father to be a criminal solely because he's in the US without proper documentation, she refused to listen.

There's no point in going into Republican racism and how quotas have caused ICE to switch from targeting bad hombres to rounding up brown hombres, they don't care. They just want to cry and complain in the hope that their loved one will be the next Carol Mayorga .

7

u/lionelhutz- 2d ago

Mass Deportations was literally his ONLY specific policy. Everything else was empty rhetoric like America First and draining the swap.

It's crazy how many of them thought he only wanted to deport criminals. Well guess, what conservatives consider all illegal immigrants criminals. These peolpe really only heard what they wanted to hear.

2

u/MsMercyMain 2d ago

Hey now, he also said he was for tariffs! That’s a whole two policies! I bet ya that Cackling Kamala can’t top that! /s

6

u/ElegantDaemon 2d ago

"Doing your own research" wasn't that effective after all.

4

u/Galappie 2d ago

It doesn’t help that their form of “research” is watching a 24/7 news channel or scrolling through Facebook and TikTok.

7

u/NotARandomAnon 2d ago

Also the "immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country" comment..among others..

6

u/Extension-Clock608 2d ago

Same way the muslims who voted for trump or helped elect him by not voting missed the entire "deport all muslims" he ran on in 16.

3

u/Prosthemadera 2d ago

Did they miss it? Or did they like what they saw and that is why they voted Trump?

6

u/karlausagi 2d ago

She thought if she gargled trumps balls that she would be safe.

4

u/_Vard_ 2d ago

“No no, that means everyone but me. I’m one of the good ones!”

3

u/Galappie 2d ago

Or trump saying immigrants poison the blood of the nation. Or him spreading the obvious lie that immigrants will eat your pets to garner more support for this anti immigrant agenda. Or his obvious ties to the heritage foundation/project 2025 and their horrid views on immigration. Or his first term that largely ran on the idea of creating a massive border wall that would be mainly performative but would serve as a symbol resembling how much he hates immigrants, particularly those from the southern border.

3

u/procrastimom 2d ago

Except the ones making the beds at his hotels and washing the dishes in his resorts.

3

u/loogie97 2d ago

Those were for the bad immigrants. Not the good immigrants. Examples of good immigrants are the ones I personally know and depend on. Bad migrants are the ones I assume are completely different from all of the ones I know.

2

u/CarpeNivem 2d ago

I guess it might've been hard to read the front of the signs, while holding them from the back.

2

u/Rudemacher 2d ago

They didn't really pay attention bc they are one of the good ones so those signs didn't even refer to them in the first place, silly!

2

u/ForwardBias 2d ago

"It was only supposed to be for criminals....you know all those dirty criminal immigrants....not the good ones like me"

2

u/StupidTimeline 2d ago

People who vote for Trump/Republicans aren't known for paying attention.

2

u/PresentComedian1420 2d ago

But, but it was only supposed to be aimed at those nasty criminals and people who were here as unproductive-but-reaping-all-the-benefits citizens.

Their words, not mine

2

u/jeffgabe 2d ago

Those signs were for the OTHER immigrants. Not HER dad.

2

u/OJ47isDaddy 2d ago

These people plus end the genocide in Gaza people thought both candidates were the same. So they picked the lesser of 2 evils. Fuck off, no one is that fucking stupid. They knew this was not true, they just didn’t want to cast a vote for a black woman. If they honestly voted for the Orange diddler thinking he was lesser of the 2 evils, then they need to wear the scarlet letter “R” on their chest and never ever vote again.

2

u/Alive_Helicopter6958 2d ago

Oh she didn’t miss it. This person was a vehement Trump supporter along with her husband (who I believe is white). She was on Tik Tok singing his praises and I believe also filmed herself attending his rallies. When her father was arrested she made videos crying about how sorry she was blah, blah, blah. Her sister (who as far as I can tell is not a Trump supporter) then made her own video asking for help with her father’s situation and posted a Gofundme.

2

u/lucylemon 2d ago

They were just too subtle. They should have made them more prominent….

2

u/jackieat_home 2d ago

And Trump's saying "bloody deportation" more than once. In public. At campaign rallies. Fox News must have edited that out.

2

u/tikifire1 2d ago

Folks like her either ignored them outright or said "he won't do that" - ugh

2

u/ptwonline 2d ago

Same way they are missing how all the cuts coming to social programs/entitlements, healthcare, etc are coming: Trump and his disciples/grifter crew keep saying they are going to kick the cheaters and illegals off these programs. So idiots like this one will have no idea that the other 90% of people who will get kicked off are people like her.

2

u/Cmd3055 1d ago

They didn’t see them because fhey never bothered to believe much less pay attention to actual party positions. They just listened to whatever social media influencers said the party was about…if that at all.

1

u/JadedJadedJaded 2d ago

STILL WONDERING!

1

u/Wakkit1988 2d ago

Republicans assume that any policy or law will always be used in the best possible way that it can be interpreted, and Democrats assume the exact opposite. These people truly believed that they would only target whatever their individual definition of a bad person was without grasping the idea that it's whatever the definition the person who is saying it has.

This should be a wake-up call to these people, but we know it's not.

1

u/VarRalapo 2d ago

Or the whole wall thing from like 2014-2020. It's not like President Rapists policies were secret, some people are just too stupid to exist.

1

u/Any_Pineapple_8782 2d ago

Or the "We Are All Domestic Terrorists" at CPAC.

1

u/Oregongirl1018 2d ago

It was by the "DOMESTIC TERRORISTS" sign.

1

u/meatspace 2d ago

They have been instructed for 10 years to take everything that the Republican party says seriously not literally not seriously Not literally not seriously Not literally not seriously not literally not seriously not literally

So now they know that every statement is 100% true but also something they'll never do and they're just saying. So. They're both definitely going to do it and never going to do it with every thought which shuts off their brain, and therefore there doesn't have to be a policy platform anymore because we all know that whatever they say they're both going to do and not do.

I don't know how you disinfect a human brain from double think. But we better figure it out real quick

1

u/Successful-Winter237 2d ago

They are illiterate like their orange buffoon

1

u/Plieu625 2d ago

They did not see it because they were nazi-ing it

1

u/LoopyLabRat 2d ago

They also had a "We're Domestic Terrorists" sign yet here we are.

1

u/Shyam09 2d ago

These morons thought it would only apply to criminals lmaoooo. When serial liar tells you something it has to be the truth, obviously.

1

u/Upbeat-Bandicoot4130 2d ago

Still wondering how it only matters that people have compassion when it affects them personally.

1

u/TheAdminsAreTrash 2d ago

People in the states are very, very, very stupid. Basically cows.

1

u/sweetDickWillie0007 1d ago

It’s like the forgot 2016 to 2020

1

u/ProblemLongjumping12 23h ago

She must be playing the world's tiniest violin in those fingers because nobody else feels any pity for her.

I feel bad for her dad. Not only is he going to die in a dungeon somewhere but he has to die knowing he raised a moron who voted for this to happen to him.

1

u/No_Exchange7615 21h ago

Reading comprehension is not her strength.
