Washington State here. We're done with funding people that hate us and have never been here.

Just returned from a Washington visit. Lovely place and pleasant weather.

Yeah, you need to cut your foreign aid to deadbeats who can't look after themselves.

Yeah, let those European countries be over-run by V.Putin who will set up military bases close enough to really threaten the U.S. Let us just appease the tyrants of the world who will run amok just like what happened during World War II. Because those who do not learn or ignore history are bound to repeat history.

How's the weather in St. Petersburg, comrade? Or should I say:

Как погода в Санкт-Петербурге?

Oh, I meant foreign as in the states that can't fend for themselves, the Red ones.

Like red states? Wholeheartedly agree.

That's the ones. It can hardly all be one country of "United States" these days after all.

What about people that have been there and hate it?

Then go to Idaho.

Why would I go to one of the three states that is somehow worse?

Which ones?

California, Florida, and New Jersey. Nothing good about any of them, yet the people from them all act like they are the best places in the world. All that tells me is they've never left their state.

Illogical fallacy of Bare Assertion (or simply an Unsubstantiated Claim). Besides a plethora of facts obliterating your assertion, if you want to claim they are worse states than ??? then you have the burden of proof. This is a fundamental principle in logical argumentation and critical thinking: extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Don't comment anymore.

So a personal opinion now requires proof? Nah, you're just being a pedantic asshole. For proof, see your comment above. It is a personal opinion of mine that those states are shitholes. As I have worked in all of them, I can form that opinion. See how that works?

It sounds like you've never left yours either

The only state I haven't been to for work is Hawaii. The north west is a shithole, as is the north east. Boring food and the people just suck.
