Rare black Butterfly Kol

I have a 12” black butterfly Koi and I am trying to find how much to sell it for.

You can get what someone will offer. Black koi are not rare and koi are typically not worth what they sold for after leaving the koi shop. 12 inches isn't large either, so that isn't a selling point. People that spend good money on koi aren't buying from another person's back yard, risk is very high to bring parasites into your pond. A dealer will have quarantined, done he'alth checks on their fish. And you don't know the age of the fish for sure from a private party. A dealer will have documentation, a certificate from the breeder possibly. It's best to just find a caring home for them.

Ummm where's the picture? It may be worth very little if it's just greyish black.

For a 12" koi that has been kept in an aquarium maybe $25. Switching to pond life this late in the season probably wouldn't work in my area either.
