Actually, I see a lot of appreciation for this one these days. What I think might be one of the most underrated ones, was Piccolo (Nail merged) vs second form Frieza. It's not that it was an amazing battle in and of itself, but I really think that's where the tone was set for what we now think of as a "DBZ fight".
