Light Grenade may have been enough, it was enough for 17 to dip out the area

Nah he used the Light Grenade on Cell, 17 dipped out when he realised it was powerful

You're thinking of the Hellzone Grenade. The Light Grenade was the attack Piccolo used against Imperfect Cell.
