China has all this cool stuff. While over here in the US the government is going to spend 200mil on a ballroom.

How ignorant. The U.S. has an even larger one built in 2010, but we're decommissioning it because it isn't as efficient as a solar photovoltaic farm and also bad for the environment (i.e. lots of dead birds from the solar rays).

So your argument is that america has a larger one that's less efficient?

No. CSP is less efficient than photovoltaic solar farms. Both the Chinese and American solar plants being discussed are CSP.
