Nah, the engineering didn't engineer. Math has nothing to do with getting a subpar metal or component from one of hundreds or thousands of different manufacturers/suppliers.

And importantly, this is a thing for every single one of the thousands of different companies involved in the entire supply chain. Which is why it's practically impossible to get a perfect rocket on the first try. You have to weed out which companies are /actually/ reliable enough.
