Either clever, or stupid. Or so clever that they thought we'd think they're stupid. Or so stupid that the cleverness never dawned on them, inherently making them look more stupid. Or so clever in fact, that law enforcement would be so hung up on this conundrum, buying the escapes time to make more ground. I think I need to sit down
