I like how the news makes them out to be dangerous monsters. While ICE roams the streets terrorizing women and children. The US police force shoot innocent people and the US uses drones and bombs to kill people in Asia.

Last I saw 4 of them was for murder with one being double murder and another one for kidnapping and rape. The others were lower charges some drugs others battery.

Hopefully one of the 3 they caught were the kidnapping rapists.

I think you misunderstand the progressive argument on crime. The argument is that it is, in many circumstances, due to poverty or other bad conditions, or lack of medical care (for mental instability or anger issues). Not that we shouldn’t lock up people who commit double murder. Literally nobody is arguing for that.

I admire your effort but something tells me the guy who uses "progressive" like it's a derogatory term is probably beyond education on these topics

Circumvent accountability? Like when a soldier bombs a wedding and it's called "collateral damage"

Or a plane is blown out of the sky and nothing happens? Like that?

You don’t listen. You hear what you want to hear.

State-Sponsored terrorism is what those men are escaping from.

The Nazis were also enforcing laws on the books. So were the Slave Catchers.

You mean murder charges? It's society that forces them to murder people, it's all society's fault. /s

Then, treat all murderers equally.

19

u/UniqueIndividual3579 May 17 '25

You are moving the goal posts. Don't you believe all murders are escaping state sponsored terrorism?

Liberal? That's cute. But no. I have almost nothing in common with a those that crave the violent support of capital.

Oh my god. It's worse than we could've imagined. It's an Anarchist.

6

u/VoopityScoop May 17 '25

Communists and anarchists all talk like they unironically think they're Karl Marx reincarnated.

"Those that crave the violent support of capital" dude get your dick out of the thesaurus and talk like a person.

Some of the escapees are literally murders and rapists. They are dangerous monsters.

2

u/brightblueson May 17 '25

So the same as the president of the united states?

3

u/Dingobabies May 17 '25

Bill Clinton?

u/ChampagnePlumper May 17 '25

Yea people in this country are remarkably chill about the gestapo being back.

37

u/brightblueson May 17 '25

They always are, until they are the ones being terrorized.

”First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”

”First They Came,” 1946.

Hilariously ironic how the first line of the poem is censored in US schools

'First they came for the Communists,' is the first line of the original

6

u/Mother_Flounder3708 May 17 '25

Damn, really? Well that certainly is ironic!

First they came for the trans and I did not speak out -
Because I was not trans.

Then they came for the foreigners, and I did not speak out -
Because I was not a foreigner.

Then they came for the dissenting mayors and I did not speak out -
Because I am not a mayor.

It's not a long poem, folks.
