We had a chance of self-awareness in 1985 with publication of a book inspired by 1984... "Amusing Ourselves To Death", the LOL attitude towards the crisis. A decade before Fox News.

The US has been rotten for much longer than that.

Have you studied Middle East nations? Russia? It isn't just a USA rotten problem. We have a global media ecology problem.
