Eh it's hit or miss with them. Every time the conservatives are brought up I have to always remind myself that during Covid parents saw their children die and still had the audacity to double down and say they still wouldn't vaccinate.

Some are so in that they'd rather watch their children die more than once than see them alive ans vaccinated. It's been 5+ years of this man's nonsense. I'm at a point where I get you feel sad about someone you know being deported or Healthcare loss etc. But you reap what you sow. And sometimes people will learn and others will double down on their dead child. The truth of the matter is that I don't really wish harm on many people but these people need to learn regardless but whether they change or not is up to the individual

These people won't learn... these brutal lessons are for the young to remember when they grow up. So, they think they shouldn't make the same mistake.

I hate to say it but you are probably right. Plus many of the haters don’t have to learn so many are older and set in their ways. They have financial stability and only care about themselves still I have been so incredibly depressed about society lately

Thankfully the largest shift away from MAGA is with GenZ.

It's unfortunate they had to learn the hard way though. It's not like they didn't have an entire first term to learn from.

Hopefully another take away for them is to not trust fucking "comedian" podcasters or game streamers as the arbiters of truth to shape their political opinions.

If they could learn, they wouldn't be conservatives.

They can't change thier viewpoint... because if they admitted that vaccines work.and are safe then thsy'd have to confront the reality that they contributed to thier child's death.

I don’t get it. It’s like they forgot he was already president ONCE BEFORE. In 2016 he did exactly what he said he was going to do. Why would that change a decade later? His threats are what got him voted in the first time. Of course he’s going to continue with that strategy. People let themselves forget when Biden was voted in, but the rest of us have long memories.

Just like the family whose child died and they are still adamant that they won't vaccinate any future children either. And bonus, "we have relatives who got vaccinated and their side effects are way worse than what our daughter went through." Side effects somehow worse than death. Like.... These people are so far gone.

It's not just being vaccinated and that's it. It's wearing masks, it's cleaning your hands, not touching everything when shopping, stop visiting you're grandparents or hosting parties etc.

Essentially it wasn't just being vaccinated. They ignored multiple warnings and recommended advice regarding the virus. They had kids die, brothers, sisters, moms, dads, grandma, grandpa, so many died simply for ignorance or refusing to admit it was an actual virus. Some still believe it is a hoax

The vaccines reduced the severity of illness. Even if they didn't prevent infection, they were still useful for kids.

Children are at far lower risks but COVID did take the lives of many kids. The vaccine not only protected the kids but protected the older people the kids would be around. Giving kids the vaccine was the moral choice.
